GamerTab That was an excellent one.
UnowPriceless hyped garbage
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
alysonburston-36564 The Last Airbender is a kids show that truly succeeds on delivering drama, humor and action in a way that an actual movie this days can't really do i also loved how they split the show into parts like Book 1 or Book 2 and goes on also the characters are very likable especially Aang and Katara and if you truly like shows like these with magical creatures and a lot of adventure The Last Airbender will give you a lot of entertainment but do yourself a favor and don't watch the M. Night Shyamalan Film. Love it!
cweyer-67805 If you have scrolled all the way down here, Id venture to guess you have seen all the reviews telling you to watch it; listen to the masses! While this show has a few flaws, particularly towards the end, it will never be outdone by another kids show, ever. I would say that this show is heaps better than most, and is undoubtedly the best kids show ever made. Please, just watch it, and when you are done, review it and give it 10 like it deserves. (Ohh, and skip "The Great Divide",)
turleyliamanders Avatar: The Last Airbender is a TV series I've been watching since I was nine or ten years old. When I first saw it, I was primarily interested in the goofy characters, the imaginative bending, and the progressing storyline. I hadn't developed a sense of great insight, but I nevertheless enjoyed it thoroughly, like how cartoons should be. This is what I love about the show: it can be an in-depth, character-developing and world-building story, but also a funny, visually entertaining and magical cartoon. I rewatched it a few years later, and my eyes were suddenly opened to a new world. I appreciated the character's genuine and original personalities, the inventive creatures, the tone that constantly switches between light and dark, the magnificent voice acting, the clever jokes and ultimately, the best part about the series: the character development. This isn't a cartoon like Spongebob where you can turn on an episode and don't need any context to understand what's happening; this show has an actual story. Each episode is a great chapter in a vast story. (And don't get me wrong, Spongebob is a wonderful show as well). As the story goes on, you see how the characters react to situations they're put into. This show forgets nothing-they can always relate back to previous experiences which influence the characters' current situation. Some of their reactions may be exciting, boring, disappointing, or even completely surprising. But the amazing thing about it is this-each and every one of the reactions and decisions made by the characters are completely realistic. These characters are completely human, particularly Zuko, my favorite character. He, specifically goes through several challenges and comes out of them in ways that you'd never expect. The animation is visually appealing, but surely not perfect. However, with the state of technology the show was in as it was made, it did very well for its circumstances. And you can bet I'm thrilled to getting the Blu-Ray when it released next week. The music is absolutely fantastic. It is touching, layered, thoughtful, and beautifully crafted. The ending music piece (titled, Peace, actually) is something I can always turn on and suddenly feel serenity, wherever I am. The humor is clever and distributed in many different ways among many different characters. It's constant, and absolutely laughable. Without the humor, this show would be completely different. It is critical in this series for it to work. Avatar: The Last Airbender has some of the most layered and entertaining characters, some of the most dazzling drawings and designs, some of the most surprising and jaw-dropping events, and some of the most touching moments I've ever had the incredible delight of viewing. If you have not seen this series, you're not doing yourself any favors by not watching it. And if you're not interested because you think it's anime, it's not. It's a Nick cartoon with mere Japanese-like style and setting. The biggest problem I have with the show is that I'm beginning to be bored with it a little bit; only because I've watched it about a million times. But it doesn't matter, because it's just simply amazing.
dalenapier-96607 I think I've already watched it about 5 times through because the storyline and characters are ones you yearn to revisit like old friends. It has its 'kids show' moments (usually mid season) but the ultimate arc payoff is unlike any other show.
