Synopsis

6teen is a Canadian animated sitcom, which premiered in Canada in 2004 on Teletoon. In the USA, 6teen first premiered on Nickelodeon on December 18, 2005 and was removed from the schedule on May 13, 2006. 6teen was previously aired on The N in reruns on December 26, 2005 until July 28, 2006, but then returned to The N as a 24-hour channel on December 31, 2007 until June 21, 2008. In the US 6teen was shown on Cartoon Network after its premiere on October 23, 2008. On Cartoon Network, 6teen had frequent airings weekly since its premiere on October 23, 2008, but got removed from the schedule in mid-November 2009. Then it returned with frequent airings in mid-February 2010, and once again got removed after its series finale on June 21, 2010. In January 2011, 6teen returned for one month only to Cartoon Network, but got removed, with other cancelled series, due to a schedule revamp. It is occasionally shown on Popgirl. The series finale, "Bye Bye Nikki? Part 2", included an acoustic remake of the theme song by Brian Melo. 6teen ended with a total of 93 episodes. DVD and iTunes releases have been made in both Canada and the USA. Though ended, creators Pertsch and McGillis both extended a willingness for a possible two-hour reunion telemovie or a feature film. As of now, it is currently not on Cartoon Network's schedule, but episodes are available from Cartoon Network on Demand in select areas. On January 3, 2011, 6teen returned with reruns to Teletoon, where it airs weekend mornings at 3:00 a.m. EST, and it recently returned to its former weekday schedule at 7:00 p.m. EST. The show is also available on Netflix streaming in the US and in the UK.

Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment
Micransix Crappy film
Marva It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
Dave from Ottawa I find that I have little patience for most teen programming. Disney Channel 'sit-coms' like Hannah Montana are excruciating as comedy entertainment. Yet, 6teen is consistently funny without resorting to cheap sight gags and pratfalls all of the time and is cleverly observant of teen life with its insecurities and hangups. The characters are well individualized, if oddly mismatched, and the dynamic between each of them is explored and evolves as the show goes on and the characters pass through the usual teen rites of passage, such as dating and breaking up, getting a job and getting fired etc... Shallow, fashion-obsessed Caitlin wants to fit in, and clicks quickly with athletic and driven Jen, but dark non-conformist Nikki isn't looking for an 'insta-friend'. And sensitive Wyatt finds himself an odd man out among chauvinistic Jonesy and slacker Jude. Yet, the six teens are closer to one another than to anybody else in their lives and they wind up supporting and lending strength to each other as they dust themselves off after every new misadventure. The character animation and action direction are a bit simplistic, but the show is driven primarily by its character interactions anyway and it thrives on its writing.
gahchelsea Yeah, so maybe I'm a bit biased? I don't know. I really like this show. I'm a 17 year old, so I'm a bit older than their target audience, but I enjoy the show. The pairings are sweet and the jokes are funny with a bit of maturity to them but not so much that I can't watch it with my little brother and sister. It's got an interesting animation style that you don't see too often and the characters are endearing. If you're not into cartoons to begin with, this isn't a show for you. I watch a lot of cartoons, I find them to relieve a lot of stress. So if you want to spend some time with your little siblings or kids, this is a cute show to watch. I recommend it for children between 8 and 12. (and for the random 16 or 17 year old like myself that likes cartoons. ha ha)
Floated2 6teen is just awful and plain stupid. Its not fun or funny in the least bit. The computer animation they used to draw the characters look horrible. This show is meant for kids but many of the jokes and humor are mature and centered more around teens. This show stereotypes pretty much everything from jocks, goth girls, to girly girls. Its such a joke and its completely not how the life of sitoeens years old are. The thing that pisses me off the most is that the characters are all annoying and they cheese me off. Jude and Jonesy are so annoying its not even funny. Jude acts like a retard all the time and says really gay stuff, it gets old real fast. Jonesy is always possessed with girls and always trying to get them. He's a such a clown. Caitlin is also annoying.I wouldn't recommend anyone to watch this garbage, its a waste of time and beyond awful.1/10
tommypezmaster I dunno why dis show was ever put on Nick. It is like one of the worst shows ever. It was bad enough when they decided to add CatDog to Nicktoons, but it's worse because they still have this show. It seems unoriginal about the characters because I have seen some other shows like it. The animation was not cool, but I saw one show and I was like no way. I thought Oh, lord, this show is a lot dumber than I thougth it would have been. I remember when Nick was fun, they would have Peslwick, Mr. Bean: The Animated Series and a lot of other funny shows like Catscrtach, but then they got rid of them. I remember on week night Nights they had a show called Charlie Brown. I remember Tiny Toon Adventures and the times where All That was cool. But now, it's just going downhill for Nick.
