GazerRise Fantastic!
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Eric Stevenson I had heard terrible things about this and I just wanted to see a movie that some people had reviewed considered one of the worst ever. At first, I thought this would just be a cheap knockoff of "Night Of The Living Dead" with poor costumes and special effects. Wow, I really did set my expectations too high. No zombies appear at all until halfway through the entire movie. Of course, it's just as well because the zombies are literally nothing but women wearing exaggerated makeup. That is all. It's just women with smeared makeup. It is easily the most pathetic representation of zombies that I have ever seen in my entire life.I mean, this must have been low budget, but that's no excuse! There's a zombie movie called "Colin" with a budget of only $74 and it looks way better than this! Everything about this film is poorly shot as well. It all looks fake and even the sets seem like something you'd find in some discarded warehouse. The acting is downright horrific. None of this leads up to anything at all. On top of that, this film is downright insulting. It actually does have scenes of women being molested by cops. I feel bad for not knowing that I was in for something as distasteful as that. Please, it's not my fault! I didn't know it would have that! I thought it would just be some cheap zombie movie! The movie features the women victims being resurrected by voodoo priests and we keep seeing shots of tarantulas and snakes. Why? What does this have to do with anything? The movie ends with the women becoming police officers and deciding to eat hamburgers. I'm serious. What was anything in this film leading up to them doing that? They see themselves as ugly in a mirror but they're not, so they think...I hate this film so much! It's a disgrace to zombie fans or fans of anything, really. Half a star
rizea_alexandru One man's trash, another man's treasure and all that, scavengers rummaging through garbage are always optimistic about finding something of value. Not here. Before I begin to hack this film to pieces (to find anything of value of course), let's start with an old school adage – Point blame at someone and there's always three fingers pointing back at you. In relating that saying to this fourth installment of the Zombie Nation , as long as cinema goers are dumb enough to pay hard earned money to watch just about anything, then absolute junk will be recycled over and over again. For The Transporter Refueled, that's just the outer layer of decomposition. If you can sit through it, the stench of vomit lasts about 90 minutes. Unfortunately, cinemas don't come with barf bags like airplanes do, so passing your popcorn bucket to the next person is the only way viewers can relieve themselves of nausea. On the positive side, it must be noted that there's hope for film school rejects.
the-dude1996 Ulli Lommel is actually very talented, his films just don t always play to his advantages. But, he always manages to create an interesting film, even if it may not necessarily be good. As for this film, sure its cheap, sure the story makes no sense, and sure the acting may suck. But its short, entertaining, and its always nice to see David Hess, even if his role is no more than a small cameo. The gore is fine in most respects, but the zombie make-up is incredibly weak, and the main villain just isn't convincing enough to be threatening. Lommel should have tried to convince Hess to play that part instead. In the end, if you walk into this with an open mind, you will find an interesting, short little film. Definitely not the worse, regardless of what the other users here may say.
snabbdist I Enjoyed this movie with the company of a very good friend of mine.We though that this might be one of the most underestimated movies of all time.I will push it so far to say that this move is way better than for example The Godfather or Shawshank Redemption (even though no one is supposed to compare movies like that.)I would SO go to the theatres to watch this movie again and again and again. Finally I would recommend this movie to everyone, especially fans of Harry Potter.
