Synopsis

Aging publisher Will Randall is at the end of his rope when a younger co-worker snatches his job out from under his nose. But after being bitten by a wolf, Will suddenly finds himself full of youthful vigor. As he struggles to regain his position, he becomes enthralled with Laura Alden, his former boss's daughter. And, as increasingly animal-like urges begin to overwhelm him, Randall worries that he may be turning into the creature that bit him.

InformationRap This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
Siflutter It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
Tayyab Torres Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
Dana An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
tstrat-64441 Sorry Jack, you're no John Houston! Another in a string of bad Nicholson flicks of the era!
Predrag You can never go wrong with this movie's all-star cast and unique storytelling, film-making that reminds me a lot of a classic Stephen King picture. Jack Nicholson performance is well oiled, and does a fairly good job as the subhuman being. Jack's Eastwick co-star Michelle Pfeiffer rejoins him as a aloof and loveless woman who has manages to open her heart to the character and you can definitely see their Eastwick chemistry is not lost. The only thing that misses the mark slightly about the movie is Laura's brother. It is explained a little that he was a borderline schizophrenic and committed suicide. This is an excellent movie. Jack Nicholson has always been one of my favorite actors, and he was the perfect choice for this role. James Spader and Michelle Pfeiffer are captivating as well. Notice Michelle's yellow eyes and heightened sense of smell at the end of the movie. The action is non-stop and the special effects and wolf make-up are first-rate. Watch this movie and have a howling good time along the way.Overall rating: 8 out of 10.
tranottoc The Wolf that first bit Jack N was none other than M.P . She targeted him after she first saw him at her dad's company . She was already a wolf and needed a suitable mate. She knew that Jack was coming to visit at a certain time and waited with her pack for his vehicle to arrive on that certain piece of road and faked herself being hit by his vehicle . She then bit him assuring that he , Jack , would become a wolf and later her mate . The key to that is her eyes after the bite and later and also at the end . How come all of you missed that and after all these years . Better watch it again . ac Better watch it again Better watch it again . Better watch it again. Better watch it again and again until you get it .
gwnightscream Jack Nicholson, Michelle Pfeiffer, James Spader, Kate Nelligan and Christopher Plummer star in this 1994 horror film. Nicholson (The Shining) plays Will Randall, an editor who soon gets bit by a werewolf. After his senses improve, he learns he's inherited the mark of the beast. Pfeiffer (The Witches of Eastwick) plays Laura Alden, a young woman he not only finds romance with, but turns out to be the daughter of his boss, Raymond (Plummer). Spader (Pretty in Pink) plays Will's co-worker, Stuart Swinton who competes with him for a higher position and Nelligan (Dracula) plays Will's wife, Charlotte who has an affair with Stuart. I've always liked this film and think it's underrated. Jack and Michelle are great in this and have good chemistry, Ennio Morricone's score is great as usual as well as Rick Baker's make-up effects. I recommend this.
