GamerTab That was an excellent one.
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Sameer Callahan It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
rengowan My all time favorite movie! This coming of age movie is about 3 friends that venture into the deep woods of Oregon out of respect of their deceased friend and their dreams of finding D.B. Cooper's Treasure. After many years apart from each other, they find that no challenge is too big as the power of friendship prevails. Dax Sheppard, Tom, is probably my favorite of the movie as his sarcastic comedy is right up my alley. I have seen this movie maybe 20+ times and never gets boring because it reminds me that even though the pressures of life seems overbearing at times, spending time with the ones closest to you is the greatest way of bringing you back down to earth. Bet you 100 grand and a left nut you will not be disappointed!! :DD
MikHailNTaysMom Personally, I have two (well 4 ;) ) words for you when it comes to this movie.. "Seth Green" & "Matthew Lillard" ;) Need I say more??!! This is a hilarious comedy where 3 teenage friends (now far into their adulthood - OK, well not that far) reunite at their 4th friend's funeral to complete his 'bucket - list' last item.. one that they had ALL FOUR agreed to do as young children. They had no idea he had actually started the journey they had all talked about all those years ago. This is very similar to "The Goonies" ;), which is probably why I loved it so much!! A 'classic' never dies, even if it's with different actors and a completely different plot!
Michael O'Keefe Its more like up a s^*t creek without a paddle. Dumb, dumb, dumb. After the funeral of a friend, three "city boys" decide to honor a childhood promise and take a trip on river in Oregon. This little camping expedition will enable them to search for the lost D.B. Cooper loot. The will some how survive outrageous encounters with animals and wild, woodsy mountain men. The three will end up close to naked when befriended by a woodsy hermit played by Burt Reynolds. Plenty of sexual reference and crude humor. The scenery is more impressive than the cast that includes: Matthew Lillard, Seth Green, Dax Shepard, Nadine Bernecker and Bonnie Somerville.
view_and_review For the sheer laugh factor alone, I liked this movie. This was actually one of the few movies that I expected to be funny and it turned out even funnier. I already knew about Seth Green (Dan Mott) and Matthew Lillard (Jerry Conlaine) from prior films, but I had never seen Dax Shepard (Tom Marshall). In my opinion, this movie isn't nearly as funny without Dax Shepard. His lines were funny, yes, but the way he delivered them and the way he spoke was really funny. The movie was simple and silly enough; three childhood friends go on an adventure in the woods, get lost, and tick off some marijuana growing hicks in the process. There were no events too absurd, yet some of the events were made for you to stretch the imagination, which is what you need for an effective comedy.
