WillSushyMedia This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
Verity Robins Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
Marva It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
Logan By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
ccthemovieman-1 Wow.....it's hard to imagine a concert with this much energy and excitement! Tina puts on some show! It must have cost big bucks just to produce this extravaganza. The fans - thousands of which filled London's Wembley Stadium - certainly got their money's worth. They, too, are entertaining and tremendous fans. I can see why Turner acknowledges them as the "best fans ever" over her long concert career. I have never seen a crowd so pumped up.This was the 60-something-year-old Turner's final tour. Her voice has never been much "to write home about" but on stage she's electric and so are the young women dancers behind her. Wow - what an amazing sight they are, at least for these male eyes. The three women - English, French and Croatian - are riveting in their looks, costumes and dancingTurners's songs are generally good, especially the faster numbers. Some of them, most notably "Better Be Good To Me," are spectacular. You watch and hear numbers like that and you can understand why most of her shows over the years were sold out.The camera-work is first-rate, done by a director who knows what he's doing, although I do wish they would have held some of the shots longer. They flash by so quickly it's tough to fully take in what you're seeing at times. This concert, for the most part (perhaps not the slow songs) will get your heart pumping and blood flowing, especially the finale. It's just great entertainment. By the time it's done, you're worn out.
Shirl52 This concert was filmed at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July 2000 with over 80,000 Tina Fans present each day. I happened to be there on the Saturday. Tina was at her best, full of high energy and giving her fans 100% non stop for 2 solid hours per night which is packed into the 2 hour long DVD. The video has been shortened slightly but still a must for the collection. This DVD and Video receive my full vote.
dssv This concert was filmed in July of 2000 as part of the #1 2000 tour and the 5th highest grossing tour of all time. The Twenty Four Seven Tour. Songs include I Wanna Take You Higher, Absolutly Nothings Changed, Fool In Love, Acid Queen, River Deep Mountain High, We Dont Need Another Hero, Better Be Good, Private Dancer, Lets Stay Together, Whats Love Got To Do With It, When the Heartache is Over, Baby Im a Star, Help, Whatever You Need, Sittin On the Dock Of the Bay, Try a Little Tenderness, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, Addicted To Love, The Best, Proud Mary, Nutbush City Limits, and finishes with Twenty Four Seven. Tina belts out all these hits in a full 2 hour show with the help of her 9 piece band, 3 dancers, two back of sings, an unbeliveable stage that splits apart, explosions, sparks, a lifting chariot, 6 costume changes, and a 100 foot arm that sweeps over the crowd. Absolutly amazing. Its also the only concert of Tinas where her sense of humor shines through. The DVD version also includes a 20 minute documentary about the tour with backstage interviews and fan statements.
