Matrixiole Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.

Glimmerubro It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.

Freddy Cachone Who couldn't relate to a popular video game turning a teenager into the ultimate time traveler weapon of war? It's a great premise for all of us sci fi nerds (even the ones who have passed their teenage years). I considered going into video game design when I was younger but that's another story. The movie had a lot of suspense and action and I loved that it didn't spoon feed you like so many other movies these days. It was fun discussing it with my buddies afterward. Seeing how something that was so obvious to me was lost on them. Anyway, it's always fun to escape from everyday life for an hour or two and imagine ourselves dressing in a bad a suit of armor and going to war. I swear if some shady dude tried to sell me a pirated copy of a video game, I might be tempted to do it!

carson hamlin As this is an Independent Film, I am not sure if it was ever released in theaters, but when I saw it at Walmart it looked like something my 14 year old son might like so I took the leap. While the movie is a little rough around the edges, it seems to me to that should be expected with an independent film, at least that has been my experience. All and all, it was actually a good movie. I was amazed that a movie made today (particularly one so "video game" related)was so kid and family friendly. Was an interesting take on the struggle between good and evil, and I felt the overall concept of the Time Warrior was interesting and original. Some of the acting could have been better, but from what I can see most of the actors in the movie have never been in anything before. I have to say the movie obviously left room for a sequel or even a trilogy and I would definitely like to see the next one.

Richard Kreuter This movie is actually really good for such a low budget film. Lots of action and suspense - and the CG graphics were excellent. I wish there was more of it. The movie felt like it was leading up to something big - maybe we will find out if they make a sequel. The movie is actually very interpretive too and I love movies like that. My wife and I are still talking about it - how the dream flashbacks fit into the story and what it meant when the smoke left Matt's friends body - I'm thinking his friend was in a way possessed? I'm going to watch it again to see if there is any foreshadowing that I didn't pick up the first time. Anyway, I love that the ending left it open for a sequel - or even a trilogy? We are looking forward to the next one!

joe curragh We watched this movie with our 8 year old and 14 year old boys and they really enjoyed it. I read a few of the reviews about bad acting but I didn't see it. The boys didn't complain or comment on it and I never really expect Oscar winning acting from no name actors and actresses. The story line was really intriguing. Our boys are really into video games and they could relate to the main characters. When the main character was 'changing' it reminded me of how Peter Parker changes into Spiderman or Bruce Banner into the Hulk. The graphics were excellent and the Time Warriors armor was impressive. Our 8 year old even commented that he would like to be the Time Warrior for Halloween but I'm not sure I could do justice to the costume. Overall, our family enjoyed it and would definitely watch it again.
