Noutions Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .

Kirpianuscus a fairy story,with seductive choreography of fights, with a delicate love story, using same theme of battle against evil and the vulnerability of illusion. few drops of humor, CGI as useful tool for create a great show, few admirable images and a script who seems serve the scenes of fight. because the story is almost a pretext. the coherence is just insignificant detail. the acting - a sketch. all is reduced at a silk scarf who mixed legend and martial arts , meeting of a poor honest man with a demon, the wise master 's sacrifice and the magic as key to maintain the order of world. and each does The Sorcerer and the White Snake a decent film for young public.

Armand a fairy tale. few seductive fight scenes. a forbidden love story. short, a beautiful movie. far to be a masterpiece, it is a useful introduction in Chinese mythology and an occasion to discover Jet Li in a not bad role. the film uses many clichés and pink productions solutions but, if you are, in few moments, a romantic, dreamer or fan of classic fairy tales, its message and the solutions for create the story are not bad at whole. sure, it is not one of great films from Extreme East but it can be decent support for a form of entertainment in which romanticism, heroic virtues, sacrifice and magic are parts of same products. and the few doses of humor are not bad at whole. short, a beautiful film. maybe, the package is more important than the content but nothing is perfect.

yutihung I had high expectation for this movie because it start off really beautifully and Raymond Lam is one of my favorite HK actor so i was hoping this flick would kick ass.Too bad the Special effect was really bad! meh even Old 2003 Special effect was a lot better and look more realist this is clearly "Hey man wanna see some glowing ball on top of a still picture" The Chemistry between the two leading actor/actress was lacking compare to the original White snake story. The best thing out of this movie was the soundtrack which i really enjoy.Jet Li role was also seem to be wasted in this movie. Maybe it was something like "Aye lets use jet li in our movie to market it for the American audience and hopefully we will get more views" Whatever i don't know.

iloveprimenumbers I simply loved the magical moves and powers displayed in this movie. I thought they were very imaginative and just spectacular! These kind of movies spark the imagination and, I believe, are more than worth watching, just for that. The fight sequences were some of the best I've ever seen. That alone would have been enough to make a very good movie. But the romance was perfect too! As I was watching it, I just kept thinking, "Oh my goodness, this is so awesome! This is the best movie I've ever seen, so far!" The only reason I give it a 9 and not 10/10 is the ending. So as not to spoil anything I will only say that I understand why they ended it the way they did, and in a way that is perfect for the kind of movie they were trying to make, so you might indeed like it, but that part was not perfect for me.
