SnoReptilePlenty Memorable, crazy movie
TaryBiggBall It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.
Numerootno A story that's too fascinating to pass by...
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
matchschtick My wife and I saw this come on and first thought it was just another movie or show that revolved around the paranormal without any really new ideas or elements. We almost changed channels but it caught our attention and by the time we were halfway through, we thought it was the beginning of a new series. The frankness of the acting and the subtle twists kept us wondering to the end! I don't like the TV show "Ghost Whisperer" as a concept, and I believe Mccarthy does a better job of dealing with his new-found gift. He does a convincing job of playing a guy who is coming to grips with his "talent" while trying to convince himself (and perhaps everyone else) that he isn't loosing his mind. The show comes across as a nice blend of mystery and suspense. Too bad there's nothing further! We thought for sure their would be at least a sequel.
Semperfiusmcbrat watched this tonight for the 1st time. not as good as 6th sense, but still kept me rioted to the TV. would watch it again in a heartbeat.it was good to see Americans and Brits working hand in hand. i liked that the psychic (sp?) worked with more than 1 ghost like in 6th sense.also included humor in the interactions between Michael and the "ghosts".I enjoyed watching Desoto (Emergancy -- Squad 51) in a more modern role. Loved him then and enjoyed seeing him in a different type role. It was nice to see that he has "aged well" and is still acting.
annie2002 I think the movie is a nice come-back for Andrew... I've recently seen Kingdom Hospital, and I really liked his performance. He was the right person for the character of Dr. Hook there. The same in this movie.....I think he has come a long way from being a "bratpack"-member. Though he's still cute to look at. But more serious in acting The Sight is a very watchable movie....with not quite the ending you expect. You think you figured out who did it, but.....no-no. The movie (to me, at least) has a little of the kingdom-atmosphere. I think it's worth watching, and I 'm looking forward to Andrews next movie. Maybe The sight 2????? not a bad idea. Enjoy
DP-7 Although billed as a 'TV movie' this screams out that it was a pilot for a tv series. There are some reasonable 'make you jump' moments and some creepiness, but this is a supernatural drama rather than a horror show or even tense thriller. Whilst the plot 'twists' in the main story were obviously signposted, the final references to a whole new layer of plot showed promise. Shame that it doesn't seem to have been picked up as a series for that to be delved in to - with luck, there will be at least a second 'movie' to wrap up that 'ghosts of the ghosts', matrix type of thing that they seemed to be heading for...
