I'm a big fan of the first Sandlot film. It's hallariously funny and the storyline is amazing. The story of a neighborhood boy who teaches a newcomer how to play baseball. It's fantastic and everything went right. In this second installment it's a complete mess. There's no funny parts whatsoever. It's a copycat of the first film, with the exception of some girls playing baseball in this film. This comedy is outright awful and gives the first film a bad name. We went from amazingly funny for the whole family, To extremely terrible. I think this film should've never been made, in fact, the only thing that stood out was the fact that this film is so unoriginal that any filmmaker could've made this. It's predictable in every way possible and everything is the same as the first film. The third film is better than this one. The acting is off the chart terrible, the comedy jokes are lame and unfunny. David Mickey Evans, the writer and director of the film could've done a lot better. I'll need to see what other movies he's done so I can see what other garbage and unoriginal ideas he's come up with. Having said everything, don't buy this on DVD or online, watch it on cable for free if you really want to see this terrible sequel. You'll probably doze off and want to sleep once you're into the first fifteen minutes of this horrible comedy.A definate no brainer, thumbs down.1/2 star Unoriginal Terrible.

This is the worst movie of all time hands down. First of all the jokes are so stupid and make no sense.If you haven't watched this movie than don't are you will be sorry.I also feel sorry for people that haved watched this movie.This is offense to the first sandlot.I almost stopped watching the movie halfway though it and I have never done that with any other movie I watched.Who ever made this movie should be put in jail because thats how bad this movie is.The actors sucked I think I could do a better job.The only way I would watch this movie again is if someone gave me a billion dollars.It wasn't even a sequel because it was the same plot of the first sandlot but this one was just terrible and got the worst actors possible and the jokes sucked.

It is the same as the first one extremely similar but they can act for gods sake!!! Its the same because it has to be but you realize the reasons have changed he goes over the fence not to save a prized possession like a Babe Ruth but he does it for the girl DUH! jeez you people are so freaking picky its a great movie and the similarities are there for a good purpose and BTW David Durango is SO hot! THis movie is and excellent example of the 70s including the woman's right liberation and the fashion. David over comes his greatest fear both fictionally and literally. The only part I did not like was the end because it was over and i was sad. WATCH THIS MOVIE BEFORE WATCHING THE SANDLOT BECAUSE IF YOU DON"T YOU MIGHT GET Disappointed!

I usually don't like sequels to any movies but this one was rather entertaining. This story takes place 10 years after the first sandlot, and has some references to the original movie. The characters actually don't give a bad performance, but rather a funny one. Unlike the first movie, a baseball isn't the thing lost in the dog's yard but rather a protocol of a NASA rocket. There is also a cute little love story mixed in with the script, which leads to the boys and girls getting along. At first the boys refuse to share the sandlot with the girls, but after a while they decide to join and become one team. It involves the 2 main characters falling in love. but neither of them having the guts to tell each other. David, the main character eventually faces his fears to help the girl he loves. It is a hilarious romantic comedy that will appeal to the whole family.
