Spidersecu Don't Believe the Hype
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Fleur Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
Scarlet The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Captain_Haddick I didn't really see this one on TV, but I got it out from VHS Village on DVD.Was a pretty amusing film, don't watch it if you aren't in the mood for something cheesy. Special effects were quite good, apart from the bit where they were sitting in the belly of the stealth bomber and the door opened and the scenery going passed looked like it was off and old VHS.Good action scenes, but it did tend to drag on a little, well you know the feeling you get when you think 'I hope this ends soon'. It wasn't too bad though.Would recommend this movie.
Richard Ford This is one of the best Made For TV action movies I have ever seen. It is not WB sugar coated and it is extremely violent. It is also better than a lot of the direct to DVD movies I rent. There is plenty of martial arts and gun battles for the average action fan and Chuck Norris does his thing. The first 15 minutes and the final 30 minutes are fantastic TV for Norris fans. The middle of the movie is fun as we watch Chuck teach his young protégé and then rescue him from an almost botched mission. It was also cool seeing Chuck square off against Soon Tek Oh, his enemy from Missing in Action II. Another great thing about this DVD is that it is enhanced for widescreen HDTVs, so you do not have to watch it in 4:3 standard or 4:3 expanded. To those people who rate this flick poorly, remember, this was a CBS TV movie with a limited budget. Please do not compare this to Chuck's theatrical releases like Delta Force or Lone Wolf McQuade. For an old dude, Chuck still rules.
Keno27 Don't listen to all the trumped up bad reviews for this film! I'm convinced they are mostly from Norris haters because he is a known Republican! The film is great. It is better than the TV series Texas Ranger. It is just like a movie in the theaters except it has abrupt cuts to black where a commercial might be.The film is a mix of the James Bond style movie with American military action films. It has humor and excitement and is just a fun romp. The main characters are pretty well conceived and are well acted. If this had been a planned series, I'm sorry it never materialized. It is a good family entertainment and could very well have been a film release. It is better than some of the latest Steven Seagal movies by far and has some good action scenes. 8 out of 10!
ozzyp I just had to comment on this movie after catching it one late night up. One must wonder how features such as these get made. Poor effects, dismal script, terrible acting....i could go on but i'd be wasting my time. Good to see Chuck Norris not acting again. I cant think of a movie that relates to it to recommend because the whole thing is so cliched; there are millions of better films. 0 stars
