Lovesusti The Worst Film Ever
ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
Rio Hayward All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Allison Davies The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
sid-coolking Now that's truly a performance worthy a national award and from direction till the screenplay, every department is ruled by the respective persons involved...Ajay till Sushant every actor lived the role as if they themselves were the real life characters...Direction by Rajkumar Santoshi is exemplary and his piece of work is evident in his past films alongside makes him the perfect master to make the film...One of the best Bhagat Singh Biopic ever made in Bollywood and it's at par with Manoj Kumar's Shaheed...A diamond classic!!
Simran Singh While reviewing this film i just don't think i am capable of reviewing this film as this epic saga is the best cinematic experience i ever had. Be it the use of sepia tint to create that Pre-Independence feeling or the marvelous performance given by the cast incl Ajay Devgn who did complete justice to the role, Sushant Singh for Sukhdev and D Santosh for Rajguru and we cannot ignore the role of Chandrashekhar Azad did by Akhilendra Mishra and Raj Babbar as Bhagat Singh father. Such movies are a challenge by itself as the director has to make viewers connected with the saga and Rajkumar Santoshi scored full marks, Viewers could actually feel the pain and sorrow of that struggling period. Jallianwala Bagh massacre will give you nightmare and the climax will make your heart cry. One more thing which made this movie epic its none other than the soundtrack by Music king A.R Rahaman. This genius has did marvelous work and his themes was the strongest point throughout the film, Songs are pretty good especially Mera Rang De Basanti that song will force u to cry and you will be unable to control your feelings. On the whole if you want to have a glimpse of Nation's real heroes....DO WATCH THIS FILM
ajitrai What makes a great movie great is how it can connect to the audience. This movie certainly achieves that goal. This movie beautifully elaborates and enlightens the protagonist's real life and surely connects to the Indian audience. Great cast, great plot and very good dialog selection which suits how the depicted heroes were in their real lives. For people who don't know about 'Shaheed' Bhagat Singh, this movie incites a great curiosity. Get some free time, watch this movie, and I am sure you will not be disappointed ( if you like the deep thinking genre of movies like the Shawshank Redemption, A Beautiful Mind etc). There are no Bruce Lee or Arnie style fighting, there is no dancing around trees.... it is just a fact based legendary movie on an Indian legend.
Sherazade There were 10 reviews for this film before mine and they all rated it 10 out of 10 stars. If that's not enough to convince you about how powerful this film is, then read on. It's one of the best films to ever come out of India and can also boast some of the best acting talents as well. The narrative is quite simple. This is the story of the legendary Bhagat Singh and his friends, a group of young boys who idolized Ghandhi as children but became disillusioned as they grew into teenagers and witnessed that none of Gandhi's peaceful tactics seemed to have worked on getting the British colonialists out of India nor stop the oppression. Steadily, they begin to rebel and form their own group and politics and soon emerge as freedom fighters. The incomparable Ajay Devgan stars as the grown up Bhaghat Singh and he is just flawless, he shoots this character into the stratosphere of acting that you eventually find yourself believing that this man might very well be Bhaghat Singh. He owns the character, he becomes the character, he inhabits the very essence of this freedom fighter and makes it his own life for the duration of the entire film. Amrita Rao is a dream to see, a breath of fresh air after viewing hours of the violence, bloodshed and senseless British nonsensical banter and poor excuse for logic. She stars here as the suitor for Bhagat but is rebuffed by the man she now loves and respects. You've heard the stories, now see it for yourself in The Legend of Bhagat Singh.
