Alicia I love this movie so much
Raetsonwe Redundant and unnecessary.
Beanbioca As Good As It Gets
Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
Brett Anderson I am an American who lived in the Netherlands for almost three years. I enjoyed this movie a lot. It's really pretty silly granted but the main characters are a fun group. I can't help but laugh as I write this review. Just thinking of the movie does that for me. I liked seeing the European countryside. There is something about the way the movie is shot that conjures up so many memories for me. I recommend the movie heartily but please don't take it too seriously or you won't have any fun. By the way I have no idea where they got that cover shot for the DVD/video. It's not from the movie! There is another goof that wasn't mentioned. At one point the rear window of the car they are in gets shot up, a few scenes later it's intact!
Floortje This is a road movie. At least the movie is in yellow anf I think that suggests a road movie (?). I can't say much positive about The Delivery. It's bad acting, certainly their English. Camera looks like it is done by a kid, there's a bomb with counter, and suddenly a Beetle is falling from the sky. Since it was so cliche we actually laught the whole time -- and that was the most fun of the movie. This movie should be released in America, but I'm not sure you should go because that might suggest that is the quality we produce. The explosions look boring. Basically everything is over the top. Everything is just too much: the yellow quality, the sound, the babe, etc. Find all the cliche part in other movies, put them together and you have The Delivery.
Thunnis I was really ashamed while watching this film. An international blame on the Dutch cinema. The worst lines since Cool as Ice! The script was really funny, but not meant to be. Aargh. No oscar this year. I am really sorry for the actors, they couldn't help it, did their best, but to be thrown in such a cinematographic mess... I loved the subtitling, great job!
Giga-4 I liked the Delivery. But, there are two things special about me. I'm Dutch, and think it's really neat to see a roadmovie being done in Europe (Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain), places that look familiar to me. Also, I like roadmovies, so that made up for things that this movie did not do so well. The first thing that comes to mind is the Dutch accent some actors in this movie have. But, that may be charming to others. Also, there are some loose ends in the movie, and things that are just too coincidental to be believed. During the movie, I let myself be surprised with what was going to happen, but in the last scene, it again became too unbelievable. In short: if you don't mind the gaps in the story too much, and just want to sit back and enjoy a roadmovie, that's different from most as it is European, this is a nice movie to go see.
