A young couple travels to the islands and discovers sexual freedom.During their stay, they encounter a young beautiful woman (Valerie Quinnesson) who involves them in a mutual love triangle. Things are going swimmingly until the mystery girl disappears. Her reason? She was afraid because she knew the vacation was going to end soon. The flick cashes in any erotic chips it has when this sexually liberated chick turns goofy and runs away. That was the lame turning point. Also, the casting of the slight Peter Galliger as the male lead was a mistake. Darryl Hannah plays his young wife, though she's too good for the role.Film is not on par with other films that deliver the chic goods that this one tries to fabricate.

A fantastic movie! I really liked it! Too bad they haven't released this movie on a wide screen FULL HD BluRay! I hope they will in the near future though. I think this is the only movie with a Menage A Trois with a happy ending I've found so far. Most movies about Menage A Trois usually end up with a break-up, cheating or other strange things. Why won't the Hollywood directors make more movies like this one? I like how the trio couple was shown having fun, dancing in clubs, drinking, going to the beach, a very beautiful scene. There's just one thing which the director could have added to this movie... making the 2 girls kiss each other and all but anyway even without that, the movie is a masterpiece which deserves to be released on BluRay, for being ONE of a kind!

Summer is the time to be free, a time to let loose, and a time to find love. In "Summer Lovers", two young lovers go to the Greek Isles to find love and adventure. Peter Gallagher and Daryl Hannah star as a couple who go to the Greek Islands to search beneath the beauty of the country, and the art of the culture. During that period of time both of them meet Lina(Valerie Quennessen) a archaeologist from France who has he own issues. There's plenty of sexual energy, sensual tension, and lots of laughs in-between. All three did everything together: saw The Stooges, swam and sun together, ate, bathed, and shared each other hobbies. When Lina's issues surfaces, the couple began to worry about her. They almost left the island without her. Since they all had fun, why not continue throughout the last day. One lost his father, one lived is lifestyle that's not her, the other has trouble being close to people. All of them have one thing in common: stability! A very fine movie, lots of fun, wonder, and excitement. 4 out of 5 stars!

Came across this picture on Encore Love while channel surfing to Encore Westerns. I watched it out of curiosity to see if the stories I had heard about it are true.They are. The only good thing about this film is the cinematography of the Greek Isles. Otherwise, it's just a movie version of a pictorial from a men's magazine, although the script (such as it is) has a few touches of Cosmopolitan.You'll love this film if you're into soft core porn, Darryl Hannah, or European brunettes. Otherwise, you'll find it boring or offensive. Note: at last report, 47% of female American college students were infected with human papilloma virus (HPV or genital warts) spread by the promiscuity that this picture celebrates.
