Jared Prophet I rented this from Red Box. When I pulled the disc out of the case, I noticed the disc was super scratched on one side towards the edge. I wondered how it could get like that and still be in service.Then I put the disc and and saw. No one could possibly get far enough into the movie to hit the bad spot on the DVD.The movie opens with a 3 minute history lesson that seems like 3 hours. This is followed by a fight scene between 2 guys in an alley that goes on too long. Followed by an endless succession of people walking through weak sets talking about nothing vital.Horrible.

gardensofhansen Every year I love picking the five best movies of the year, based on whether I would watch the film a second time within 24 hours of seeing it the first time. On the other side of the coin, I've made a hobby of seeking out really horrible movies and sending them to my friend Justin. I guarantee I'll be getting a copy of this one to share with Justin. One year it was Doogle, another year it was the western "Three Bad Men". I recommend both of those films to you if you could endure this film. You might also consider "Troll II". The acting was terrible, the CGI was worse, I'm not sure about the plot, half way through we watched the rest of the film in 2x speed. We did have to stop and watch the last 3 minutes of the film as it didn't make any sense in fast forward. Watching it at regular speed didn't help. For those of you who really want to see something really horrible this is the film for you. BTW the best part of this picture was reading the reviews from this site, they're delightful.

dodger45 The only thing that comes to mind in describing this movie is: "bad porno movie acting (without the sex and 70's music)". I actually made it through 15 minutes before aggressively pressing stop in amazement. I only paid a buck to rent this one; but I'd still like to get a refund...along with the 15 minutes of my life back. Truly amazed that this quality, (or lack thereof) was ever budgeted. I never expected this to be Star Wars-the second coming; but I also wasn't prepared to see a middle school play either.If they truly want to make this a hugely popular film.....put it on Mystery Science theater..it would be a hit!...or hoot.

marc-723-365925 I don't know if I should be angry with the producers so much as I am Redbox. It seems more of the budget was allocated to the cover than to the actual film. I had never seen or heard of this movie, and was simply hungry for a good scifi. I've seen some rather low budget films on Redbox before, but never quite this low. The rental should have been knocked down to at least 25%. Unfortunately, I'll probably fall victim to the same rouse again. The movie itself is not too terrible for such a low budget film, but it is pretty annoying when you're not expecting it. I guess it's the marketing that pisses me off. It wouldn't surprise me if this film will make more money off of unsuspecting customers than anything else.
