PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Cooktopi The acting in this movie is really good.
Dana An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
authorvenky Snatch is not a classic or a block buster movie. But still it is considered as one of the best gangster franchise movies. This movie is directed by Guy Ritchie. Guy Richie is known for his non linear movie editing style as the scenes will not be a sequence but it will be shifting back and forth. This movie is part of his franchise gangster movie called as Rock n rolla, lock stock and barrels. What I Liked in this movie is its narrative style and his engaging dialogues like in martin Scorsese movie. This movie has lot of thumping scenes where we rouse to clap our hands due to its dialogue. Inspite of having complex characterization and scenes in the movie, audience is not confused and they ought to enjoy this movie.Obviously the movie is gross in few scenes one reason being a gangster subject and another one being a gangster movie.I am sure that gangster movie fans will like and love this movie!!!!!
undeaddt This, along with Fight Club and Seven, are maybe the best roles that Brad Pitt played. The movie is pitch perfect. Simple story, great acting, good sense of humour, Jason Statham being the actor he is and the movie is a 9/10 at least.
Jon_Snow_21 Snatch is completely badass. No other word can describe it better. It's fast paced, action packed hilarious and most importantly, stylish.Even though it Came out 14 years after Snatch, the most accurate comparison I would have for this movie is the colorful 2014 movie, The Grand Budapest Hotel, one of my favorites. Their fast paced style and fast talking witty characters are similar in the best possible way. There is rarely a dull moment where something extreme, hilarious or outrageous isn't happening. There's tons of action in Snatch even though it's not necessarily an action movie. Most of the time it's pretty comedic and always awesome. The story is hard to explain. In a few words, Jason Statham and his assistant embark on a weird adventure when Brad Pitt puts their boxer in the hospital after ripping him off. Also, there's a huge diamond that about ten people are trying to get which ties into the boxing. Snatch's only flaw like the grand Budapest is that sometimes the movie moves TOO fast and you don't really know what's going on.Jason Statham gives an extremely Jason Statham performance, if you know what I mean. If you don't well he's basically like in his 14 other transporter movies. It's basically like the Rock, Ryan Reynolds and Vin Diesel. If you like his action movie persona like me, you'll love him here. Even though it's rather similar to his other movies, I think it was a little better. Everyone else is pretty good, especially Brad Pitt with his unintelligible pikey accent.I hope Snatch will go down as an energetic classic, because in my book, it definitely is.
John Brooks I get that at the time this came out, there weren't legions of such action packed convoluted rougher type comedies, but for crying out loud 'Lock' came out before this, by the same Guy Ritchie, and it was heaps better. If anything, strangely enough, it feels like Lock was the more mature film made some years later, not before. It's not as smooth in the action sequences, it's got too much talking that doesn't amount to much effect, pretty stupid braindead type dialog, supposedly witty but really completely forgettable banal lines, tries hard in many places; something like Brad Pitt's character was good in concept but honestly could've been much funnier in execution, they could've really made him sound hilarious when here he's just confusing to listen to.Where 'Lock' had lots of well incorporated subplots and micro-twists, this here gets overcomplicated too fast, too many characters, and the viewer can't be screwed to put in all that effort to remember insignificant details, as the film never makes it a point to warrant your full attention on every aspect of this very ordinary production. Too much focus demanded for far too little a reward.5.5/10.
