Spidersecu Don't Believe the Hype
Sexyloutak Absolutely the worst movie.
SpunkySelfTwitter It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.
Fleur Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
Chiller7 It wasn't great, but I'll give it 10 stars anyway, because Dolph tried. An A for effort. All these guys, Dolph + Tony Jaa + Ron Perlman + Michael Jai White, are talented action movie guys, but they've all been in way better action movies than this. Yes, they're getting old, but they can still do better. The action scenes in this movie unfortunately just kinda fell short of being considered to be that great overall. There's a couple of pretty decent fights. One of the Tony vs Dolph fights was pretty good, in an abandoned factory. Tony vs Michael Jai White was probably the best scene - very impressive that a guy as big as White can move like that. But, as for the rest of the movie, the abundance of dull shootout scenes just weren't very interesting or shot in an engaging or dynamic way.But in a weird way, it was amusing enough seeing Dolph try so hard to make this good that even though he mostly failed, I somehow still kinda enjoyed watching it.
BeingThere1955 Actually--can you believe it?--it turned out to be good! Lundgren was persuasive--although when he shows his eyes you can see the man is not a full-fledged actor, for when he does so he can't help revealing his, and not his character's, character. Nevertheless, he's very likable. The rest of the cast, like Lundgren, are in top form.
joshivinay The concept of the movie is good whatever happens to girls who are forced in human trafficking is Horrible and Inhumane for sure... Being said that the movie couldn't have gone any more horribly wrong. From direction to screen play got lots of holes and don't get me started on the acting. Even a 5 year old acting in a school play could've acted way better than (Dolph and Tony) the Lead actors and the accent of the foreign Asian characters is "super Racist " Nobody Talks like that. Some Running scene in which Dolph has to run to chase you could see he is so old that he couldn't even run Some people wrote " Excellent Action Movie" those guys don't know what a "Good Action" movie is. Only good thing is the villain and the hot female lead(with terrible accent) P.S. Pass this Movie. Watch something else
subxerogravity When I saw that this movie was coming out, I waited patiently for it to come out in theaters, but then I discovered it was coming out only on Video on Demand, I could not wait for it to be released on Netflix, so for the first time I rented a movie using VOD.How could I not? Dolph Lundgren teaming up with Tony Jaa to stop human trafficking! What more could you want? I tell you what more, Michael Jai white is what more. The idea that White and Jaa may battle each other alone is worth the seven bucks (totally worth the seven bucks). Big and clunky action oldie Lundgren even gets an impressive shot at Jaa worth seeing. Rounding out the all-star cast that screams good action movie is originally Robocop Peter Weller as the bad ass captain of the police force, and the great Ron Pearlman as the head of the Siberian mafia. It's the first time I've seen a movie that showcases the Siberian mob so that was something unique they brought to an action movie.I'll admit, the movie exploits some issues of bringing Jaa to a more international (American) Market. Lucky for us, that only met that he had to lay out the best cheesy one-liners his lack of English can articulate It reminds me of The Protector, not Jaa's movie but one of Jackie Chan's first attempts at coming to America, but unlike Chan, Jaa did not have to wait until Rush Hour for the western world to get what he's doing. Instead with Skintrade, they just added what he does to the mix of over bloated testosterone loaded Hollywood action, similar to his role in Furious 7.Great action flick!
