Ganesh Salian Singh is Kinng,directed by Anees Bazmee has no story basically.But this one could be called a Kinng sized entertainer. It offers loads of big laughs,some action sequences,a little drama and lots of romance and last but not the least it has the biggest entertainer of Bollywood-Akshay Kumar. Direction by Anees Bazmee is excellent. The music is chart buster with all songs topping. The Cinematagropher has done a excellent job.The scenic beauty of Australia has been captured very well. Special mention to the dialogs writer who does an amazing job. Performance wise-Akshay Kumar is the Daddy of Entertainment.He simply rocks!Katrina Kaif adds glamor value to the film.Om Puri and Kirron Kher are superb in their respective roles.Sonu Sood is very good.Neha Dhupia looks gorgeous.Javed Jaffery is excellent.Ranvir Shorey is okay in a brief role.Yashpal Sharma,Sudhanshu Pandey,Kamal Chopra and Manoj Pahwa are good.Overall Singh is Kinng is an entertainer.

legend_killer0123 This movie is a good entertainer but once again its a remake of a Hollywood film. The storyline resembles Jackie chan's miracles. Akshay kumar's performance was good which i think made the film a hit. The songs are fine but i think its time that bollywood directors use their own brains. Vipul shah should have tried to change the storyline. The ending was stupid. I guess "too much cooks spoil the broth". i heard that they r now planning to make a sequel. I don't see how the story will move further but i hope that this time the story will not be copied. i would recommend this film to everyone because its a family entertainer but don't expect something extraordinary because its a light hearted comedy.

jerrel This movie does not live up to the expectations it created in its trailer and promos. The gestapo like performance at the film-fare awards promised me a great adventure, but hell no: it's just a zero level cheesy love story with lame songs about a rebound guy. That's a guy who appears and introduce himself as a friend of a couple, but actually he's after the girl. During the movie I was begging for merci, because of the repeated sympathy of the other key players for Singh which came really as a torture. Almost everybody was busy trying to make Singh happy, at the cost of everything, even someone's fiancée.Throughout the whole movie Singh is crying about Khaiff and her fiancé who aren't happy together and on the other side a gangster crew is crying and feels sorry for Singh who also isn't happy because he is single. Finally her fiancé delivers Khaiff into Akshay's arms and guess what: Singh is happy, he's the King. Movie title explained. Very creative man! Unbelievable that this movie turns Akshay into a superstar and triggers him to earn millions of dollars. This movie should definitely not be screened outside India, it's very bad PR for Bollywood.

yonkers20 If i was Anees bazmee, i would have chopped the entire movie and kept only Katrina's part. People would have flocked to see the 30 minute clip just to watch Katrina.There is a limit to slap stick comedy, after that you just don't feel like laughing, its just a slap on ur face.the movie is exactly that.Been seeing the making of the movie, looking at the foreign crew, thought at least the action would be classy. its the same old cheesy action scenes. Our crew would have done a better job.this movie also reminded me of an old Jackie Chan movie (Mr Canton and Lady Rose)where the story is the same. Jackie gets involved in a gang and helps the flower lady. This movie was a hong kong adaptation of Frank Capra's "A Pocketful of Miracles". So apna movie script is again a copied and changed to have 2 hours of naach gaana.Worth a one time watch: Yes, only if you like Katrina Kaif(but not because she was brilliant in the acting department). Akshay Kumar has just carried forward his Hera pheri character to this movie with the addition of a turban.
