Mjeteconer Just perfect...
VeteranLight I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
SaseDegete I made it till the end, barely, but only just to see how many times the number of arrows in the thief's quiver magically changes from scene to scene
Elewis1195 It's better than many of the dungeons and dragons movies of the 90s. A watchable enough story with pleasing if not perfect visuals and special effects. The lead actress feels forced but some of the supporting characters are better. Not one I'd strongly recommend, but I liked it enough to look at the sequels. A solid effort.
ericjcant-1 Take every standard fantasy cliche from popular fiction, role playing game conventions, fantasy cosplay etc and behold you get Mythica! A series of predictable adventures at the fan fiction level of writing, acting and effects. There is a good chance that as you watch this you will find yourself thinking, "this is just like..." or, "this reminds me of..." Ut's not exactly bad though, it's just that there is absolutely zero originality. The creatures, the characters, the quest(s) lack any sense of genuine depth, and are entirely derivative. With that said, I didn't dislike it. I just wish it was more genuinely creative and compelling.
gordygordy-07283 I read a bad review before watching this movie but I watched it anyway because I love fantasy movies and games. I started watching the movie and the special effects were horrendous but I thought I'd carry on as it was an Indy film and I was sure that wasn't all they had in their bag. I felt that they'd taken a lot of inspiration from The Elder Scroll games but this was right up my street. About half an hour in I was glued to the screen and by the time it had finished I was over the moon to find out that a squeal had just been released. Acting was standard, loved the story line and the special effects were pretty poor although they made up for it in so many ways. I understand that some people will defiantly hate this movie straight from the get go, but it's easy to tell that it's made by fantasy fans for fantasy fans and if you love fantasy you best give this one a try! 7/10 - Although I preferred the squeal!
