jind This movie first came out in the 1980's era of "stupid teen flicks" but really if it were to be released this year would seriously be a nice "date movie" that anyone could enjoy because it seriously is a movie that would be very relevant for anyone out there in the relationship world who needs to see how to be a nice person. The movie starts out with the young boy "Bobby" who is obviously very overly hormone driven finding out that his summer is going to be spent with a woman tutor who is going to teach him French. "Karen Kaye" winds up being his beautiful tutor who over the course of the summer winds up teaching him how to be nice and respectful of women. She basically holds the whole movie together and does an excellent job of it. She was the perfect choice for the part. Once the two of them do fall in love, even the love scene that everyone is waiting for is done tastefully. Terry does a wonderful job of teaching Bobby how to be a "real man". You actually enjoy watching them together. This movie is now available on DVD and is worth getting and watching with that "someone special".

Hunky Stud This film is not about the real life. It is simply a teenage boy's pure sexual fantasy becoming a reality. It is more like a porn movie material which was toned down for an R movie. If he really loves his tutor, how can he change his mind in just one night? Why does the tutor want to swim naked at night?And at the end, after his tutor left for France, the movie ends with him jumping into the air. What does that suggest? Is it because he is just happy that his "lover" is gone forever, or is it because he is just happy that he has had sex with his hot tutor, and he does not have to deal with the consequence afterwards? Overall, it is still a watchable movie. It has that warm sentimental feelings that remind me about the time when I was a teenager.

triple8 I saw this movie when I was a kid and since the plot has been gone over numerous times I won't even get into that. Suffice to say, what you see is what you get. This movie falls into the "male hormone" genre of movies but it really wasn't so bad, the movie was tasteful compared to some of the garbage that's out today and it actually had a somewhat interesting plot with decent chemistry among the leads so girls could actually find it watchable as well as males. The setting was quite pretty as well. Make no mistake though, this is geared directly toward the teenage boy. The movie doesn't even try to be original but I liked how both the leads characters' were actually-well-developed somewhat. The movie's main flaw is the totally awful title but for what it is it's all right and I'd actually rate it a 5 or 6, you could do worse with a movie of this type.

bigpappa1--2 After flunking his French class, a teenage boy has to spend the summer being tutored in French. But along the way teacher and student fall in love and begin an affair. The romance story between teacher and student works very well ( the score and music is great in these scenes, plus it is sincere ), but other characters and situations often feel forced and are embarrassing. I have really mixed feelings for this film and it is tough to give a rating, because half of it is soooooo good, yet other half stinks. 7.5 out of 10.
