Synopsis

As host of his own hit TV series, 'MAN VS', Doug Woods is forced to fend for himself for five days in remote locations with no crew, food, or water, only the cameras he carries on his back to film his experiences. Doug's in the remote woods for a routine episode, until he's awoken by an earth-shaking crash. Things get weirder as it becomes clear Doug isn't alone. Someone or something is watching him.

filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Tymon Sutton The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.
bward-20 No, this movie won't win an Oscar, but it is a fun ride. It's a good take on the Bear Grylls genre of adventure survival shows.
thomaswalker5000 This film starts with the modern day Survivalist in the wild theme as a premise as the main character throughout the film. The idea is its another reality TV show that is typical of many that have come and gone over the last decade or so of that particular genre. Basically it's a familiar sign of the times back drop profession for the main character to motivate us the viewer to watch his documented "Survivalist" style TV show. Its a good setting to use for the Blair Witch formula of "Documented Film Footage" angle to be inserted in this movie. He films and narrates his self in the woods far from the big city. With that the story become's mysterious in the first day of his five day outing in the wilderness. When suddenly he awake's from the ground he was sleeping on by a rumbling noise and sound ???
jonward85 The movie played out about like i expected. I didn't expect to enjoy it like i did. Clearly a low budget movie. I expected a poor quality and some really bad/cheesy story. Can't lie sometimes i love to laugh at movies like that and so it's what i expected when i fired up this one. Watched the movie and was really surprised. Felt like they did a good job all around of developing the main character. The Scify was about what i expected but all in all it was good. Clearly enjoyed the movie way more than i expected and so hat tip to the director and actors.
thisseatofmars Man Vs. is a Canadian horror movie that incorporates elements of found footage. It does this via its plot: Chris Diamantopoulos, who played Moe in the 2012 version of The Three Stooges (oh baby) has a reality TV show like Bear Grill-is-us (never seen it and can't be bothered to look up the actual spelling). He treks out into the wilderness and videos himself scraping the soot off of tree bark to use as toilet paper, foraging for nuts and berries, and hunting wascally wabbits. By and by he realizes that he's not alone in the woods and all that soot-scraping will not go to waste. It's a good movie except for its creature effects, which are CG. Have we learned nothing from Predator, you fools?! Makeup and animatronics always beat CG, always! (Whaps film with cane.) But the creature doesn't show up so often, so I guess it's kind of okay. Man Vs. is laptop-viewing quality on an insomnia night, yknowwhatimsayin? And it's Canadian, so ding-ding-ding A+ dood!
