Reviews

Stevecorp Don't listen to the negative reviews
Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Rio Hayward All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
vengeance20 I stumbled across this film via a horror film website. I had to buy this & watch it as I already had Bereavement on DVD & not watched it yet. There was lots of hype about this film. Through searching it up on the internet I was excited to see how good this film was. Images of the film & the villain made me want to see this film also. The film was OK, not great! But I was expecting a little bit more blood & guts considering it had the hype for it. There was just something about the film which lacked something, not sure what! I mean it was a good film! Reminded me of the Texas Chainsaw Franchise a lot! But it wasn't as good as it was made to be! The stabbing scenes were good so it didn't lack blood too much!Overall it's a decent enough film so I give it 8/10
Ben Larson Whatever happened to Heather Magee, the actress who played Marylin? This was the end of a very short career. I always get curious when someone drops out of site after a couple of movies. She was part of a bank robbery team, and someone you immediately want to get away from. There is a lot going on in the movie. The robbers are soon halved, and there is a masked man lurking in the shadows. The suspense is palpable. If you have seen the first part of what is supposed to be a trilogy (Bereavement, which was done six years after this), then you will know who the masked man is.The bank robbery soon becomes a back story as the masked man had captured or killed everyone. It now becomes a typical 80s slasher film.In that light it was pretty good. Had me jumping a couple of times.
nigedoc1 This movie has a lot of mixed reviews so I thought I'd review it and have my say.First off this is your average slasher movie which as far as slasher movies go is not that bad a movie, it's very similar to a lot of other movies I have seen and your not going to get anything new here although if you enjoy the 'texas chain saw massacre' type of movie then you will enjoy this one too. The characters in the movie are played OK and I've seen a lot worse in my time, they do justice for this type of B movie and budget. The story is predictable and you'll know whats going to happen a lot of the time but I feel movies like this are more about blood and cuts rather than making you think a lot. Overall it's not bad and will pass a couple of hours on a night, it wont win any awards but as far as this type of slasher movie goes its not bad
joemamaohio Three bank robbers take refuge in an abandoned house (with a mother-daughter hostage). Unbeknownst to any of them, a serial killer is stalking them and killing them one by one. Who is behind it, and what is the motive? I rated it a 5 because it was alright for a cheap horror flick. It had a story, which is something most horror films don't have, and the acting was slightly above par. The storyline itself involving the killer is pretty weak, but apparently it's only the middle story of a trilogy that hopefully will never be made. It's worth one watch, just to catch the storyline, but I would say that would be enough when it comes to "Malevolence."
