Reviews

Lancoor A very feeble attempt at affirmatie action
Joanna Mccarty Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
washington_00001 What a funny film!I was very impressed with the whole film, but I did not realise that cast was (at that time) relatively unknown. Such excellent performances from all the actors. It was really well cast.I would especially like to see more of Torquil Nelson, Adam Haddrick and Lachy Hulme. Really liked their performances. If you want a laugh, go see this.
copyman_88 I enjoyed this film for a number of reasons.Firstly, it was well written. It contained excellent character development, a well constructed plot and funny dialogue. Not to mention excellent action sequences.Secondly, it was well cast. The actors are obviously all of a high standard and suited their roles perfectly. Finally, direction. Director Matthew George has done a fantastic job utilising the resources available - camerawork was great, editing was first rate and so was the soundtrack. Overall, i am most impressed with this element, and the movie in general.I hope you enjoy it.
thepaper_009 What a fantastic film!Lachy Hulme stars in this wonderfully silly movie about the chase for Christopher Skase, an Australian business man with an ignominious past.Great one-liners fill this film that has it all, except it could have done with some T&A, but there is enough action to satisfy.Had to wait for DVD to see it and love the comments by the director/co-writer, Matthew George and co-writer, Hulme.Get a copy, it rocks!
kentklien Oh, how I avoided this film. I finally sat down to watch it and I'm glad I did. Because at the end of the day, despite the apparent cheap shots that could have been taken, this is a well crafted comedy that has it's tongue so firmly planted in it's cheek that it is obvious here that the intent is to laugh at the absurdity of the original chase for Skase and Australia's single mindedness at returning the 'scoundrel to justice.' That was never going to happen. So what is Let's Get Skase? The next best thing. Two hours of nonsense looking back at the saga, with all the right liberties taken storywise. In short, this films go right over the top, culminating in a Rambo style raids on good ol' Christopher's island fortress in Majorca, by Dellasandro and his team of merry idiots. Excellent performances, great script and true understanding of the genre by the director. One of Australia's better attempts at comedy. I only wish it was true.
