Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film

Rosie Searle It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Pyros_Velosian I found it to be a well done film for being low budget. The title struck me as a pun after I had seen it and I choose to believe it was intentional. The body count is high, and it has a moral (of a sort). Maria, the Italian hit-woman, is not too hard on the eyes either.The bad guy is a real bad guy and deserves to die, the good guy is a crooked cop, and the hit-woman... just happened to be the one to get tagged with the job.Warning: Maria gets nude. It is not a long scene, but her lovely body writhing in the bed in the aftermath of a gun battle is memorable. I haven't forgotten it yet...I would buy this movie (if I could find it on DVD, I'd even take VHS if I had to. It is less about action, and more about enforced inaction cause by other people failing to follow a "reasonable timetable".

phena_gen Anyone who thinks this movie sucks obviously doesn't get it's deeply cynical and highly entertaining take on the British Gangster film (not to mention american and other european) This is a satirical commentary on Greed, Guns and Sex. Full of ultra-violent gun play our heroin is neither sympathetic nor anti-heroic she merely is. An enigmatic dominant female who isn't going to allow bumbling roughs and sinister masterminds get the better of her. Like Leon (The Professional) she is motivated by payment the intrigues and politics between the waring factions are not her concern. However, she knows how to handle herself. Of course she needs to win out in the end over the dirty deeds of the hired thugs, the dirty cops and the twisted king-pin. In a film filled with nothing but bad-guys shouldn't the woman with the gun and the lack of concern be the winner? I came, I saw, I kicked it's ass then I got paid and went home.

JOHN WALTON Lacking the gritty tension of other northern gangster movies (eg Get Carter). Could have improved with a bit more humour (the shadow-play & Evian trick were highspots of the movie). Lighting-camerawork did little to create the appropriate drama. I hope we see Kendra in a speaking-role soon.

Diamond UK The movie isn't really that good. People on low budgets shouldn't make action movies unless they plan to do a lot of martials arts in them. However Kendra Torgan is an absolute babe, the fact she barely speaks English in the movie just adds to her mystery. I don't know much about this actress, but would certainly look forward to seeing her in a movie that makes more of her obvious talents. There are some quite funny bits in the movie, like when she is trying to shoot an apple off one of her captive's head. Also the way she walks around with a learn English tape is amusing and it's nice the way the tape comes in handy at the end of the movie. On the whole though I'd only give the movie 4 out of 10.
