Kattiera Nana I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
ThiefHott Too much of everything
Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
Kamila Bell This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
jamiepaton-33876 To put it simply, I hate Jurrassic park III. The plot is mind numbingly boring. The acting is god awful and the cgi, even for 2001 standards, is atrocious.Lets start with the plot...Why is it so boring and dumb? The whole premise is, this couples son got stuck on an island in a parachuting incident and they want to go on a dinosaur infested Island to get him back. They promise to give Alan Grant (The only good thin about this movie) a load of money to help et the boy of the island. One thing that's always bothered me is how come he wasn't eaten. The first thing that happens when his parents and Alan Grant come on the island is them getting attacked. How come this boy who has been there for quite some time has not been eaten? It makes no sense and the plot just gets worse and worseThe acting in this movie, with the exception of Sam Neil, is some of the worst ever. Téa Leoni plays Amanda Kirby and it is honestly torture to watch. Constantly over acting and screaming constantly. William H. Macy is okay but if they would've bothered to at least try and get some decent people to work on this film instead of making it for money's sake we wouldn'tall have to sit through this atrocity.I loved Jurrassic Park and I really liked The Lost World. This movie just goes to show that bringing back the main character from the first movie doesn't make the movie good. I actually prefer Kingdom of the Crystal Skull over this. No wonder Steven Spielberg didn't come back to direct this one.The writing in this movie can actually be okay at times. But for the most part it's not different it's what we have seen 100 times before. The first 20-30 minutes before they even get to the Island is more entertaining than the rest of the movie.I really wanted to love JP III but in the end I really hate it.
patrick-413 A waste of time, money, talent and the audience's time. There have been worse sequels made in history, but few more predictable and boring than this one. Not even worth watching for free on Showtime.
Sam Panico The first film in the series to not be based on a Crichton book or directed by Spielberg, who saw the films as "a big Advil headache."I hate watched this movie, to be perfectly honest. Why would anyone go near this park? Why would anyone be dumb enough to parasail with pterodactyls? That's what we call thinning the herd. Come on, people. It all starts when Ben Hildebrand takes his girlfriend's kid, Eric Kirby, parasailing with the dinosaurs, as mentioned above. However, they are pulled toward Isla Sorna and Eric's parents, Paul and Amanda (William H. Macy and Tea Leoni) con Dr. Alan Grant into coming back to the island. We learn early on that Dr. Grant screwed things up with Dr. Sattler and that she's married to someone else. He's a man alone, back on digs with an assistant that barely listens to him, Billy Brennan. All the Kirbys say they want to do is fly over the island. However, the mercs on board knock out Grant and then it's time to find Eric, who is actually the most resourceful of everyone.Seriously, this movie felt like it went on forever, as they walked over the same ground trod upon by the other films. That said - the scene where Dr. Grant has the dream on the plane and the raptor talks to him? I could watch that over and over again.
anchoreddown This may be the lowest point in box office for the Jurassic Park franchise, however, in light of both reading up on the spinosaurus and watching several YouTube videos on the franchise, I'm coming to appreciate the work that went into the third Jurassic movie. First off, as most people have noted, this is not like the other three films. Yes, it may not have much of a scare tactic, but it all boils down to how well you know your dinosaurs. Go back to 2001. Research for undiscovered dinosaurs, like the spinosaurus was quite new and different. This animal was chosen for it's distinctive size, power and energy. The production team was looking for something larger than the T-Rex and the reason this dinosaur was chosen was for it's crocodile like snout, which makes it stand out next to it's cousins in the relative chain. Upono closer inspection, if you actually know something of the animal, it was more of an aquatic animal, and the research, as eluded to in the trivia section had the dinosaur standing on four to two legs, depending on your source material. Therefore, with this kind of information, you can get an idea of what's really going on behind the scenes for the storyline when it comes to actually breeding the animals. It's an obvious hybrid, even through it isn't stated in the film. I honestly don't think it was the studios intention to create a hybrid dinosaur. What we got is actually quite brilliant, it's a monster movie, but with a Jurassic Park twist. The fact that they chose to do it this way and leave the audience w questions until the next movie furthers the idea that the spinosaurus is a hybrid. Most people are probably looking at the animal and wishing it was a T-Rex, because that is the star of the franchise. Mot people probably didn't like it for several obvious reasons, but it's the dinosaurs that shine the most in this episode of the Jurassic Park franchise. Two thumbs up for doing something completely different!!
