Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
Bergorks If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.
Tayyab Torres Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
ziahsjed Downside of the movie "ANUSHKA SHARMA". She looks uninterested in work. Her performance is worst. This movie had all the best in the world but even that did not stop death of yash chopra by worst performance of A**Ka Sharma. I have watched only two movies and can sense her apathy towards acting. She will keep killing directors and people involved with her. Poor Yash Chopra. Mr. Yash Chopra is not among us because trash performance of An**Ka Sharma killed him. Her presence on screen terrifies me. It seems that she can eat me alive. I will never watch her in my life. An**Ka is Chudail. Now Virat kohli will commit Suicide. Fact: The mistakes happened in this movie all around her character which proves my point that she is not serious about her work. She has condescending and rude attitude towards the team where she works.
ItalianToni Before I write one thing, please let me say that I love Shah Rukh Khan! I think he is a wonderful actor and just his facial expressions alone in a movie have sold me on that. So, this is a good movie and SRK makes a great Samar Anand, both as a civilian and a Major, but there is something about this movie that won't let me give it a higher score. I can't quite put my finger on it. It may be the differences in ages between SRK (Samar) and Katrina Kaif (Meera) that I struggled with, both in real life, and in the attempt to make them look closer in age in the movie.Shah Rukh Khan has always looked younger than his actual age to me, but the 19 year age difference between he and Katrina Kaif was difficult for me to put aside. Granted, if I was an actress in Indian movies doing my first kissing scene, Shah Rukh Khan would be my pick, but even so, I think someone maybe a little older than Katrina Kaif could have been a better fit for the movie. She didn't have to be his age, but possibly have a few more years on her. Samar always looked much older to me than Meera in the whole movie, especially when he was supposed to be 28. I didn't have a problem with Anushka Sharma's (Akira) age because she was meant to be younger than him, and there was no actual romantic relationship between them.I did like the story and the ending, and I was very glad that Major Anand didn't get blown up at any point in the movie. I kept waiting for that to happen and was going to be really ticked off if it had. :-)Over all, it was a good movie and I enjoyed it, but I do think another actress (and I don't mean Priyanka Chopra) could have made a better Meera and had better chemistry with Major Anand.
Janet John i have seen almost all the movies of SRK. He and his heroine always have great on screen chemistry which portraits well to the audience and almost all of his love stories are excellent. in this one i didn't see any on screen chemistry between SRK&katrina. they didn't act well to show they were in love. Well i don't think it was SRK , he is the king of Romance. Katrina didn't have any expressions on her face. always same plastic face for every emotions. Maybe thats why they didn't portrait that in the movie. I felt Anushka and SRK had more on screen chemistry as romantic couple than SRK and Katrina. it was really awkward to see.
erkansirin78 I had been thinking that SRK was not gonna touch deep in my heart again since Veer-Zaara and Kal Ho Naa Ho. Once I watched Jab Tak Hai Jaan, I realized that I was wrong. Yes, I was really really and terribly wrong. What was that? It slugged me. Although I have same profession with major Samar, the profession which is supposed to be masculine :), I couldn't help but cry. Yes I cried. Raised in a culture where crying is perceived as a sign of weakness and femininity, I was not allowed to, but even so I let it go. SRK is so lovely, romantic and warm person. Who can resist his charm and sweetness? Despite in his late forties He can still play very well in love stories and preserves his appeal. I pray God to stop his aging so that he will be able to play more and more in romance movies like this one. As if He is sent earth to accomplish a mission which is love and to be loved and teach this all people. Heer echoed in my mind for days along, best song in the movie. Actually I don't know Hindi except a few common words in our languages, Turkish and Hindi, indeed I don't need to. We are all humans. Although we speak different languages, the language of feelings are always same. We are able to love, one of the most powerful feeling God had given us. I have realized again we need to love someone and to be loved in return and then life can become more meaningful and worth to live. I thank all staff who put so much in this warm and nice movie. It has succeeded to flow in my heart. I can still feel its warmth in there :) We are very close and alike.
