UnowPriceless hyped garbage

Voxitype Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
aishwaryagupta92 Few sensible movies in Bollywood and this movie shows it in every aspect .
arunmehta-68935 The storyline seems too unrealistic and character development for some characters, especially Amrita Singh is not sufficient. Basic logic in some aspects is totally missing. Firstly, showing the love story of young Mita and Raj seems totally pointless and has no connect to the story. Secondly, the point made by the schools that they would not accept a shopkeeper's child, even though when the parents can pay is simply unpalatable (In India, paise ke sab deewane). In such a scenario, the couple (Raj and Mita) makes a stupid decision to start living in a poor locality, which by the way could be avoided by simply sending their daughter to any other good school (there is no dearth of schools that take donation). Raj leaves his well established business in Delhi and joins a factory worker job, c'mon guys is this realistic in anyway. To top it all, Amrita Singh who is earlier shown as an honest and upright woman, turns out to be corrupt. Overall a miserable try to address an important social issue. Rest, Irfan, Saba Qamar and Deepak Dobriyal have acted very well, but the storyline fails to do them justice.
chirag jain This is the first movie I am reviewing on IMDb and the reason is the movie "Hindi Medium" and its cast and the entire team. The movie is amazing. I planned to watch this movie in the theater and asked all my friends to be a part of it. No one was ready to watch the movie. At last went to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 5. None of my friends wanted to watch this movie. And the reason was "Bollywood". Even I am not a fan of Bollywood and hardly watch a movie. Later joined Amazon Prime just to watch this mind-blowing movie. This movie is tons times better than POTC 5. I first saw Saba Qamar in a Pakistani show named "Thakkan" and I was moved by her acting and beauty. I always felt, that there are great actors in Bollywood but not a single actress, but Saba Qamar is the exception. Not just Beautiful but also great with acting.Irrfan was great as always, both with acting and comedy. No added Masala, no useless songs, no stupid punches or over-show of emotions. The movie was perfect. A big thank to the Director, Producers and entire team to produce this work.
me_theuninvited I think it is safe to say that the Bollywood era is kinda over. No, I am not talking about Bollywood making movies era, cause that is seriously at its peak these days. But I am talking about the era where every movie that came out of Bollywood was a winner. No stupid, forced jokes, unnecessary dialogues, even the songs that came were amazing. But gone is that era. So whenever a movie like this comes, I am bound to write a review about it because it deserves all my words and energy. Honestly, I would not write about the movie much because you have to kinda feel it and not read it. Saba Qamar is a versatile actress. She has been giving amazing performances in Pakistani dramas and now she's here in India to break stereotypes. She doesn't use her body to get objectified. She plays a role that matches her male co-star in every step. Unlike the scripts that Yami Gautam has been doing, this movie actually giver her something to do. What can be said about Irrfan Khan? Whatever he touches, it turns gold. You can actually feel what the character is going through. But the scene stealer in this movie is definitely Deepak Dorbiyal. My God, Salman who? It is so heartbreaking to see a man working so good, but doesn't get the accolades he deserves. He is the best there is. He makes you feel, cry, emote, laugh with him.
