nahidfarzana Started watching after reading a review about this movie. The review portrayed a very interesting, enjoyable movie which the movie failed to portray. The lead actors were good at the beginning of the film. With time they started to lose their ability to connect you with the story. Even with Samantha, it felt like her voice was loosing interest from the story. Duration (2 hrs) felt like too long to portray their relationship and getting to the end. It always amuses me how people fail to communicate with loved ones, but sometimes open up to somebody else so effectively. I did not understand the costume design though, why the old fashion line from decades ago?! In some scenes, it looked weird and funny, specially for men. The ending was beautiful portraying the difference between the feelings of human and AI. It showed one of the major problem humans have in their relationship/love life, the urge to have everything for themselves only.

jacklee-82703 Deep and emotional, this movie captures it all. I didn't except a movie with such an idiotic idea to be so beautiful. Joaquin Phoenix does it again.

thesmythley "Her" is largely a film that builds on older films that contain the somewhat patronising subtext: "This is where technology will bring us in our brave new future." The film is fairly interesting, yet it appears to legitimise people's obsession with technology by romanticising it. In the case, this romanticisation is quite literal due to the fact that the main character develops what deceptively passes as a "relationship" with an AI. There really is little to say about this film, except it serves as a depressing reminder that people would prefer talking to a piece of software rather than other human beings. However, I'm sure that the more pretentious and irrationally romantic among us would probably herald the film as a touching and poignant polyromantic story that is the future of "THE WORLD OF TOMORROW!"

Sam AlMan This movie discusses aches of the heart in relationship , what true relationship is, and what true partner is. I loved the emotional performance of Joaquin Phoenix. It is a slow movie with enjoyable scenery and atmosphere. The artificial Intelligence (A.I.) once again employed to explore human emotions and social bonds in a new way.It is a soft social romantic/drama movie. It might won't impress all science fiction fans but it presents a kind of "realistic" path of what our technology today would lead to.
