Reviews

Cubussoli Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Dirtylogy It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
Mandeep Tyson The acting in this movie is really good.
Caryl It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
tj_disea I was thinking of another hellraiser movie and the last one was really very bad. However I was unexpectedly surprised to see that this version of the movie has been done like I expected it from a good hellraiser movie. I am seeing it now for the 5th time and I find out new details and this is what I wanted from a good horror movie. If people ask me I can see hellraiser is back again and I found a new track a new road to continue on
bubilica69 Not even worth reviewing. Nothing similar with original movie. Bad screenwriting, worse directing and picture, the worst masks and acting I had ever seen *well, almost the worst). It has no point, it has no plot, it only has titties, which are not even a point of anything in the movie. Loss of time and money.
gyeazle I had all the hopes in the world that maybe they would finally return Hellraiser back to what it is, but this is just another movie that was probably a bad screenplay that they added Pinhead to and called it a Hellraiser movie. If you're a fan of the first two, or even 3 or maybe even 4, then you're not going to like this. The only thing I find interesting is that since the 3rd I've only seen each sequel once (because of how dissapointing they were) and each were when they were new and I can recall the 5th one okay, the 6th one a little less, the 7th even lesser and this movie? I saw it a week ago and all I can remember about it is thinking "What?! Hellraiser isn't Christain Hell!!!!!" If for some reason you entered the franchise late and never saw the first two, go and watch them to see how different and distant each sequel becomes after that. The second, although not written by Clive Barker, brings you deeper into the world of the Cenobytes and Pinhead comes off as much more complex than simply the devil like he seems to be in the sequels. It's been about 30 years since a good hellraiser movie came out and I don't know why I keep tormenting myself with thinknig a new one will be good. I had to watch this one in sections because of how... Unhellraiser it felt. And that was because I was in the mood for a hellraiser movie and ended up turning this one off to watch the second one again. I hadn't seen it since I was a kid and wanted to be sure I wasn't making up memories) I wasn't and this isn't hellraiser.
Michael Ledo Brothers Sean (Damon Carney) and David (Randy Wayne) are detectives investigating odd serial killings that are biblical in nature. They are aided by Christine (Alexandra Harris). There is a judgement going on, as people are killed in a manner of their life vice, or crime. Some people are taken to a home where our Hellraiser crew is located, although they don't come in hot and heavy until the last 10 minutes of the feature. There is a puzzle box, but it doesn't operate as cool as it has in the past.Guide: F-word. Nudity.
