CommentsXp Best movie ever!
Mandeep Tyson The acting in this movie is really good.
Ella-May O'Brien Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
Leofwine_draca HEAVEN'S HEROES is another of the 'Godsploitation' flicks made by director Donald W. Thompson; this one's apparently based on a true story. The Christian propaganda isn't as pronounced as in some other films by Thompson, and the story about cops struggling with their faith in a violent world is quite well achieved; there are some surprisingly gritty interludes, like the cop getting shot through the eye and the hit and run case. This film is certainly no classic, but those of the Christian persuasion are sure to enjoy it.
jjvisllc I have not only seen the movie, I attended the funeral of officer Hill. This is a wonderful movie about faith in the face of death. It is my understanding this film has been used over the years as a training film for new officers. This story happened in Des Moines, IA. He and his wife attended the same church we went to and we are still in touch with Cindy and her father Buck. Both Cindy and Buck stand on and live their life for their Lord an Savior Jesus Christ and are a true testimony of faith in action, or walking the walk and not talking the talk.Highly highly recommend it
