PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
mmorriss For anyone who has ever seen or even heard of Dave Matthews Band, this is a must own. This performance proves that DMB is one of the best live performances that money can buy.The performance starts out with "Don't Drink the Water," a very good song to start the energy of the concert with. The band does a very good job mixing the songs together for an easy transaction from one song to the next. The real start of the concert starts with the song "Ants Marching." This is in my opinion, the best version of the song. There is no long intro, but the song is filled with energy and joy. Every band member does an amazing job at making this song one of the best during the show.Jimi Thing is another fantastic song. It is almost 17 minutes long and awesome every second of it. About ten minutes of the song is a jam with Warren Haynes playing on the electric guitar. Mr. Dave himself does a scat for about a minute and a half. One of the best scats he's ever done.Overall, this performance is pure awesome. A must own for any DMB fan.
cegater This was a great concert. It was obvious that the band feeds off New York City Energy. the sound is amazing and blows away any other DMB DVDs in this category. The music is played very well and each player has a significant role - even the dude on keys. This has been a lacking in past efforts where Boyd Tinsley is concerned. He always seemed like the bands weak point to m but not here. I do have one gripe: as Stephan Lessard slides into his bass solo, the cameras slide to the sky and the surrounding area.I would have liked to have seen him play rather than take in the view. If you like DMB or are considering liking DMB, get this DVD.You will not regret it.
stryych9 I just got the dvd yesterday and I love it. i was one of the lucky few thousands who saw this show live. we waited on line for 3 hours to get through many security check points and it was worth every minute. this was my 5th time seeing the band and easily their most complete setlist of their most popular 'hit' songs. the dvd looks and sounds incredible, my only complaint is that the sky and the lit up nyc city skyline over central park looked much more dramatic and beautiful from where I was standing than it does on screen from the cameras which were overhead. the 5.1 surround sounds awesome and this is easily dave's best dvd. I highly recommend this dvd to any dave matthews fan.
