cbeamer-2 I am a huge Toby Keith fan. Living in Canada, this film wasn't released locally and even when it was advertised as being played on CMT, it still didn't air in my area.I had seen trailers for the movie and some of the promotional airings on TV. I had already purchased the soundtrack, which I loved. However, I bought the movie sight unseen and absolutely loved it. Toby's scenes were so natural. It was like he wasn't acting at all. The interactions between the characters was excellent. The music fit the storyline perfectly and the movie gave me new appreciation for the soundtrack. I can't say enough good things about the movie. It rates a big "two thumbs up" in my book!

wandaone I want to say what a great movie Broken Bridges was.I did a lot of crying threw the whole thing. It was a great story with wonderful people playing there parts. every person seem to fit there part to a tee.I hope to see more movies from CMT like this.I liked the fact that it was a kind of love story without all the mushie stuff.I bougth the movie the day it came out on DVD and have watched it at least three times a day. I loved the movie so much that I cant even say I have a favorite part or a favorite person. everyone did such a great job. It is for sure a must see movie.I will be looking forward to seeing more movies with Tobt Keith cause he was so wonderful in this one.Thanks for letting me write. wandaone

malcolmbounds I believe the theaters have gone nuts. I got to watch the premiere of this movie and it never progressed into a release. Only major cities got to keep it after that. There are a ton of people here who would love to see it. I've bragged about it to my co-workers and I'm not a real big Toby fan. I think maybe they are trying to put this movie down, when in reality it would have done pretty darn good at the box office. The theaters need to listen to those who go to the movies, rather than the critics. From what I can see it will be out on DVD without going to the theaters and that is very disappointing. Regal, Rave, and all the other theaters should take another look at what they missed at the box. They all complain about not enough people go to the movies, maybe they need to take another look at what they show. If you get the chance to see this on the big screen, it will be well worth what you spend for a ticket. It won't be quite as good on DVD.

mitchellmel Watching this movie from beginning to end ( I was able to see it filmed in several of my local communities) this movie had already touched a little bit of curiosity. But I never knew how much it would touch my heart.This story is about life.... bad and good mistakes, and how people try to "make things right" even years later. Toby Keith was AWESOME in this film. And Kelly Preston showed her heart song in this film. It was such a good story, and I don't understand why critics rated this movie a C+, which I feel was judged this score, because it didn't have the violence, sex, and cursing that they think Americans want these days.They need to make more movies like this one! Everyone that played in this movie shined! And the added bonus was seeing friends in this movie too !
