Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
AutCuddly Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,
Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
Pooja DM The movie starts off simple (no beating around the bush and stretching the story; it is straight to the point) with Jay (Scott Speedman) who is a janitor in a psychiatric hospital. Jay owes a lot of people money and is actually on probation for the janitor job. He likes to spend some of his time with some of the patients. But the psychiatrist does not approve of this as Jay usually provides them with porn materials and booze. Anyway, one night, he saves Daisy (Evan Rachel Wood), a newly admitted patient in the psychiatric hospital, from getting raped. From that point, Daisy follows Jay as she does not want to stay at the hospital. As the story unfolds, we learn that Daisy has never stepped out of her house her entire life when her mother was alive. She is different and her sense of communication is different as well. Daisy is naive and we even see her lack of awareness of social rules but her character is nevertheless charming and will warm your heart as she is innocent and genuine in her own way. Jay takes Daisy home for his brother's wedding. Things soon get messy as Jay's parents find out about the real identity of Daisy. This movie was heart warming and different. Evan Rachel Wood portrayed the character of Daisy so well. The way she acted confused in pure innocence and the way she responded to the environment around her was amazing. She played her role really well. Loved it!
shamanphenomenon Everything in this movie works well together. The acting (which was spot on). The complex character growth is natural and relatable. The directing, soundtrack, musical score, writing, & the plot as a whole made me leave the movie feeling the emotion of love. I just happened on this movie while at home sick from work. Though it is not a complex movie, it does not need to be in order for most people to relate to one, some, or all of the characters. This movie touched on most emotions. Throughout the movie I laughed out loud, cried, was angry & tense, disappointed, stimulated, & relieved. A sign of a well scripted movie (in my humble opinion). This is the feel good movie that you seek out to watch that will make your day better. It is a well rounded romantic comedy! The Perfect date night movie for those that believe their love is a little crazy; whilst the world's view of it is crazier.
P B After watching this 2014's title for a couple of minutes, I recognized the German original Barfuss (eng. Barefoot) movie from 2005. And, yep, like I always do... I gave it a chance... But that's just a totally awful movie! Period.Til Schweiger's Barfuss is brilliant. And I'm sorry for the story writer, Stephen Zotnowski, for falling that low with this one. Why would you do that anyway?!?!?!?!American remakes tend to be way worse than the originals. This one is has a screaming sign on it, saying: stop remaking, be original, or popularize European (Japanese, ...) filmmakers instead.
Franco Marbun Some reviews on here criticise that the male protagonist learns that you can just continue behaving badly until it pays off. I think those reviewers miss the point rather spectacularly. They're demanding the formula they've come to expect - no doubt if the movie WAS as perfectly formulaic as they expect they'd almost certainly criticise this too.Personally, I felt that the male character DOES progress so the criticism is unwarranted on both levels.Personally, I loved this movie. Woods acting is wonderful and she portrays the naive female lead expertly. All the characters were believable. It's a lovely rom-com with less than perfect characters and which doesn't force morality down your throat... for this reason alone I consider barefoot refreshing.
