tcollins1205 I've never written a review for a film on Imdb before, but this film is getting too much hate from people that are expecting a run of the mill AAA film. If you look at this film for what they were attempting and something other than The Avengers then this film is a masterpiece in its genre. I would put this film with the likes of Queen of the Damned and The Crow. This film is exactly what I was hoping for. The music is amazing. While the acting could be better in certain spots by certain people, the story is sound, keeps you watching, and it immediately made it to my favorite movie spot. Cinematography is amazing. If you aren't the public that's completely satisfied by the big budget films if nowadays or the predictably, easy films, then at least give it a shot. American Satan!!!!

sg-13868 I stumbled on this movie by flipping through channels on showtime. Really enjoyed, loved the cinematography, also love Malcom McDowells performance. Took me back many years ago to the Rock N Roll lifestyle and LA. Very watchable if your over 40. Most of the negative reviews i'm sure are from hardcore metal guys or the less than 30 year old guys that sit around jerking each other off while listening to imagine dragons or mumford and sons.

bluedog-06340 Disappointing but I the music was good. The acting was OK but I expect to see Satan if it is in the title and not as a name of a track on an album.
