Manoj Bajpai is as usual good - but is not helped by a few weaker actors around him. Editing could have been a lot tighter to bring this movie under 2hrs...........may have been even better viewing

stark_reality-59403 Does this a movie that deserves a 10? No, a 6.5 to 7 maybe, but here the situation demanded it (such undeserving low ratings). Is this movie as bad, boring or convoluted as people here and in other places are making out to be - the clear answer is NO. Taking into consideration the genre of this movie, not many such movie have been made in Hindi film industry. To make such a movie in Indian context and to make it palatable, this film does more than enough to keep its audience entertained. Certain Indian audiences who are just starting to get a taste of such espionage flicks will certainly find it appealing (mind you this audience number is huge). I hope in coming years Neeraj pandey and filmakers like him will take such genre and this kind of stories forward, making it more realistic and thoroughly entertaining. But if so much of bashing is done about the movie and if it completly sinks in the box office, why would any one dare to make films on such topics? (Loosely based on Aadarsh Scam). I believe people who have access to international content as well as watch Indian content should take the reality of Indian Cinema and movie going public's mentality into consideration. Such considerations will only make a review more comprehensive for an Indian audience to make a decision to watch a movie or not.

BubbleBollywood I failed to understand the whole movie, leave alone the ending. Neeraj Pandey was a disappointment this time around. Too many meaningless sub plots and too many non linear scenes makes the movie a khichdi of sorts with a sour taste. Manoj Bajpayee is the only standout in this muddled up, almost three hours long thriller. Sidharth Malhotra is decent while Rakul Preet Singh is fairly okay. Pooja Chopra is barely seen whereas all senior bunch of actors like Anupam Kher (https://www.bollywoodbubble.com/celebrity/anupam-kher/), Naseeruddin Shah, Kumud Mishra and Adil Hussain are utterly wasted with no clear character sketches drawn.

Sanjay Agnihotri AIYAARY, is a thriller completely for the class audiences Manoj Bajpayee as usual nailed it. Nasiruddin Shah was impressive as always. Script was a bit weak. One can easily feel that although Puja Chopra's and Rakul Preet's performance are decent but their characters are not very well written. As a thriller novelist I am bound to say that in place of creating these two characters (Puja Chopra's role and Rakul Preet's role ) if the story writer could have just created one strong powerful character and written a good role.Sanjay Agnihotri Novelist
