Aneesa Wardle The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Ariella Broughton It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
brian12478 Found this movie randomly on Netflix and it looked nice and colorful. Usually with school movies I'm skeptical because it's done so much before. However, I did like this because there was diversity in the casting. By diversity, I mean people of color! It is a good reminder for us to appreciate the people we already have in our life and try not to look for something better. The pace of this movie felt pretty fast, which was a good, there wasn't much "swimming" going on considering the main guy was a sports student getting possible recognition in swimming. Lastly, when there was a problem, it didn't exactly get worse cause usually there would be more bullying, but people acknowledged the wrongdoings and stopped themselves and chose to do the right thing. Which was very refreshing
bozopauk I will keep it as simple as this movie is. It is a classic, basic teen high school comedy. If it can be called comedy since it has no humor throughout the whole movie. It has all the classics: bitchy queen of school, superstar athlete, nerdy girl turning out to be prettiest girl and her nerdier friend that is in love with her. Only thing that I didn't predict was the gay moment, but it was my mistake, it is 2017, and well, you need something pro-LGBTQ to get better critics. So to conclude, I have no idea as why I've watched this movie other than the extreme boredom. I got what I expected, a very, very bad movie.
actorben2004 Wonderful movie. Fun, Funny and Touching. Will be watching it a few more times! Great writing, great performances. LOVED IT. Incredible original movie that really has a great outlook of modern high school situations based on social media. It's like a Saved By the Bell of the future but with stronger jokes and a great story arch. Truly enjoyed every second!
daughterof_ann First off, ignore the haters! This movie is refreshing and instills much needed reminders regarding social media dangers, fake friends and being true to yourself!Added bonus:Lead actors Keith and Nesta are adorable together and have great chemistry! As long as there are teenagers, you can never have enough teen movies!!!Music soundtrack is Dope!!!❤❤❤❤
