irma-95 Zoey is a very popular girl at PCA and everything seems to be happening to her but she always can find the right thing to do to solve every problem. She is blond, she is Britney Spears' little sister and she is Chase Matthews' crush since the first season. Many reviews state that because of these reasons, this show is very bad. It is not though! It is indeed not an accurate portrayal of boarding schools but it is just a TV series, not a documentary. Funny and entertaining it teaches young children to behave in the right way, to never lie and it reflects the importance of having good friends by your side.I do not see the difference between this series and Hannah Montana, Zack and Cody and other Disney Channel classics.If we then talk about the cinematography then I would like to point out that it is quite bad, the acting is sometimes not realistic enough and at times the editing reveals to be too dull. I would give it a 6 mostly because of Jamie Lynn Spears' acting at times and because she should be aware at least by season 2 that Chase is in love with her! Girls are not that stupid!However, I am 21 and enjoy watching some episodes after a rough day on dissertations and seminars as it is indeed quite funny and something positively different from the shows that are on today.

Catherine_Grace_Zeh "ZOEY 101," in my opinion, is an excellent Nickelodeon show. I watch it with my 9-year-old nephew from time to time. I always smile and laugh whenever a mishap occurs. I would have to say that the funniest ones are everything that happens one time when Zoey (Jamie Lynn Spears) has some friends over at her house. If you ask me, she always know just what to say and do to make the audience laugh. The writing is always strong, the performances are always good, and everything else about the show is good. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that if you don't have basic cable, you should get it. Now, in conclusion, I hope this will be on Nickelodeon for many years yet.

sofiacheer Why is everyone giving a bad review?I find Zoey 101 very entertaining. I mean yeah, its a bit unrealistic but isn't that like all kid shows? I always find myself laughing. If you are looking for perfect acting and a realistic show then leave. This is not an adult show so get over it. For a kids show, I give this a 10 stars. It is SO much better than Sam & Cat, Spongebob, and the other shows Nickelodeon produces now. It helps kids learn to help one another. Also, it is not just for kids but it can be for teens too. Chase, Lola, Zoey, Quinn, Michael, Nicole, Dana, and Logan all have a unique personality and I highly recommend to watch this show for a good laugh.Overall, I give this show 9 stars. It is very disappointing that Zoey 101 is over .

dvdtrb Of some of the bad reviews I've read of Zoey 101. Obviously some people didn't watch enough episodes. Saying that the school is filled with rich kids and whatnot. That is not true. Logan is the only one who is rich. All the other kids are average. Seriously. I mean, in one episode Zoey says that she only gets 15 dollars a week or a month as an allowance. I don't remember. Seriously, if she was rich don't you think she'd get more than 15 dollars a week/month? Come on. For people saying the show is unrealistic cause most boarding schools don't have a sushi bar and those other things. It's a TV show, it's not supposed to be realistic, I mean seriously, in one episode. Logan tells Chase & Michael to be careful with a camera and later mentions that it's a half a million dollars. Seriously, how many cameras have you seen that cost 500,000 dollars? In another episode. Logan wants to take Quinn to Vaccaro, a really expensive restaurant. He wants to take her there because it's quiet, romantic & no one else at PCA can afford to eat there. Seriously, if the school was filled with rich kids don't you think they'd be able to eat at this expensive restaurant? What else? Oh yes, in the Walk a Thon episode. Lola doesn't read the clipboard and doesn't know that pledges are per mile and she pledges 30 dollars, Zoey & Dustin walk 20 miles so she owes 600 dollars and freaks out. Seriously, if the school was filled with rich kids and she was rich, do you really think she would have freaked out over 600 dollars? Seriously, 600 dollars to a rich person is nothing. In the Coffee Cart Ban episode. When Logan opens up a secret coffee shop to sell coffee & such. He charges 9 dollars for a large and basically just charges high prices that cups of coffee wouldn't normally cost. Seriously, if the school was filled with rich kids they wouldn't freak out over those prices and they'd be more than happy to pay the prices. As I said, Logan is the only one who's rich as he spends 4,000 dollars on Lola, Zoey & Nicole in a people auction. Spends 4,000 dollars on a remote control helicopter in another episode. Spends over 300,000 dollars on a car & 100,000 dollars on a fake coin collection in another episode. In another episode, it's mentioned that he gets 15,000 dollars a month as allowance. In the Coffee Cart Ban episode, he pays 400 dollars for a coffee beverage. As you see, Logan is the only one who is rich. Everyone else is average as I said before. This show is really good. I really like it. The characters are good. I really like Quinn as she's smart & knowledgeable. This show is not bad okay. If it's so bad. Why was it nominated for an Emmy award, other awards & won a few of those awards? How come in 2005 it was a #2 show with the young teen audience just behind American Idol? How come at one point it was one of Nickelodeon's top highest rated shows? Yeah, exactly. The main reason this show ended was because of Jamie Lynn's pregnancy. Seriously, if she wouldn't have gotten pregnant. This show would have ran longer or at least would have had a 5th season. I really like this show and enjoy it very well.
