This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Left wing propaganda, they made this guy out to be a saint and the FBI look like the Keystone Cops. Don't believe a minute of this garbage.

The people who wrote this and signed off on it are counting on their viewers not to remember the hearings and the information that came out after the US government murdered a bunch of women and children. Watch "Waco Rules of Engagement" if you want to know what really happened. This show is pathetic propaganda and most people have no clue. So sad. In the Waco documentary "Rules of Engagement" you can actually watch video of special forces operatives rolling off the sides of the tanks and firing into the building at people who were trying to escape. It will blow your mind when you find out that CS gas destroys the lungs of children, and the US government new this. They new it was flammable, too. Bill Clinton signed off on the whole thing because he was the only one who could activate the Delta Force unit that was in Waco. This is all information that is easy to obtain due to it all coming out in the Waco hearings. But don't worry, the feds that carried out the operation felt bad, right? That is what the tv show says. They shed tears and felt guilt after the compound burned to the ground, right? Wrong! You can see the federal agents, who were portrayed in this film, posing with the charred remains of the compound like hunters after a kill. Just look at the google images. https://bit.ly/2Iknlrk

Amazingly done. Great acting, well produced, emotional. I was very young when this happened. Watching this account was incredibly educational. I look forward to watching the documentary from Paramount online.

There are few shows on TV that are as captivating as this one. Most of us know generally what happened at Waco, but this 6-part series brings us much more of the human emotions and connections that few of us knew about, as well as how and why the standoff played out the way it did. I'm sure some of it was fictionalized for dramatic effect, but it is still very effective and absorbing. Even though we know the outcome, the mini-series keeps you on the edge of your seat. Each episode ends too soon, and I can't wait for the next one. I think the fact that this was taken from two books, one written by a survivor of Waco, and another by the lead FBI negotiator, adds a lot to the quality of this series, too.If you have on-demand, each episode is accompanied by a short documentary where we hear from the actual survivors of the incident, and the from the real FBI agents who were there. That adds even more to the story that is told.I hope this mini-series gets released on Blu-ray and/or DVD. It deserves to be available to a wider audience. It is available on Amazon streaming, for a price, but I would like to see it released on disk as well.
