GurlyIamBeach Instant Favorite.
Console best movie i've ever seen.
Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
Paynbob It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
dean-556 More accurate and less infested with 21st Century Feminist Protagonists most of the sludge produced by current Progressive ideologies that, once again, ruin everything they touch. Just ignore lines like" "In order for our economy to flourish we must look beyond religion and IDENTITY, sire." (Emphasis mine). I wish I knew more about the era so I could do better job of self-filtering and not corrupting my own understanding of the period but the politics (of the period) seem otherwise intact and authentic, the execution of the story and drama is captivating.
DenverJayhawk I have no idea what series all these people are watching who are giving this 9's and 10's. The story, the acting, the writing, the terrible French. All of it dreadful.
David Land I am amazed by this series and so glad I found it on Netflix. I verified that Louis' brother Phillipe was openly gay. The men in this series are as pretty as the women! I am quite puzzled by the scoring however. It has an ethereal quality, almost as if it were a film of mystery, intrigue or horror. I am just on episode four of the series, and I will certainly continue watching, but I wondered if anyone else finds the score a bit misplaced.
m-e-plauche Absolutely one of my favorite shows, compared to Reign I didn't think I'd like anything more. Versailles is raw and juicy and tear jerking; it's everything I could have asked for. Everything is chronologically correct and (although exaggerated) the TV series tells you how it was back then without making up these overly crazy stories. This TV series should continue on for 6 more seasons on my opinion.
