BeSummers Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.
avataryesthethundermansno Why do people like this show? This show is not funny at all, and it is the Teen Titans Go of Nick, always getting the most attention and airtime and is killing the network. I REALLY, REALLY hate this show. Why? Because of its awful messages and role models. In this show, the characters are always being extremely mean and disrespectful. The characters are always physically hurting each other, calling each other mean names, humiliating each other, and saying awful, awful things. Every single family member abuses each other by hurting each other with or without their powers, not giving each other love, respect, and attention, and saying very, very awful things. Phoebe and Max also bully other people in school, like teachers and unpopular students. This show teaches kids to disrespect your family, to disrespect authority, to steal, to cheat, to be a liar, to trick other people, to be selfish, to cause drama, to cheat on your romantic partner and to be a bully, is that what you wanna teach your kids? huh? After parents let their kids see this show, the kids are sure to pick up on the mean-spirited and toilet humor behaviors of the characters. The show itself isn't even original. Its a cheap knock-off of Wizards of Waverly Place, Lab Rats, and the Incredibles. The Thundermans use their powers for their own personal gain It also has a LOT of toilet humor: too many butt, fart, poop, pee, burp, vomit, booger, and twerk jokes. None of the other jokes are funny either, they are bland and mean spirited, and the gosh darn LAUGH TRACK PLAYS AFTER EVERY LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVEN THE LINES THAT AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY!!!!! I bet the laugh track would play if someone said their dog died. Also the acting sucks and the characters are just bland stereotypes. Phoebe is the overacheiving nerdy girly girl who only likes fashion and social media. Max is the villain who does mean stuff. Nora is the little girly girl brat who tricks other people. Billy is the dumb moron who goes along with what Nora says. Barb is the overworked mother. Hank is the overweight lazy dumb father. Chloe is the baby who aged rapidly because the writers are lazy. She's okay though. but sometimes helps Nora and billy with their schemes. Anyway, never ever watch. Watch other shows instead.
EatThatPie This show is without a doubt, the worst show currently on Nick. The acting is terrible. The actors are always talking very loudly, and Chloe acts as if shes 16, and its pretty obvious the only reason they added her character was to copy Full House(A good sitcom). The writing is pretty bad. Every episode has the same stuff in it. Nora hurts Billy, they make the boys dumber than the girls, Max and Phoebe learn no lessons and continue to bicker and cause huge problems, they are always lieing to each other CONSTANTLY, and their Parents don't do anything about it until the end of the episode. There is almost no positive messages in the show. The kids always fight, the parents aren't even responsible, the family is lieing to each other and sometimes even spends thousands of dollars from their parents account on useless stuff. In the end, they make sort things out, but its completely unrealistic. There's also that horrible laugh-track. It plays it if ANYTHING happens: Nora hurts Billy: laugh track. Max insults someone: laugh track. Some trips: laugh track. Someone says something that's almost funny: laugh track. It plays it over and over and over again during the entire show, and it can get extremely irritating. If Nick can hear me...STOP IT WITH THESE SITCOMS! And delete this one first!
divyanka The Thundermans is a very interesting sitcom with a good storyline. Most of the cast is also well-chosen, and every episode offers an interesting plot. The show has a pretty good sense of humour, and the idea of a family with superpowers incorporated into their daily life routine is refreshing and worthwhile. Although I do feel that the characters of the Thunderman family are a bit oddly matched (the two younger siblings look and feel very different from the two older siblings), every character does a pretty good job of playing out her/his role. In addition, the sitcom focuses on the relationship and love between siblings for the most part. This is very refreshing and different from what most sitcoms do.8/10
Chikunee Mikshufel I can't even tell whether this show tries way too hard, or honestly doesn't even care. Seriously. The whole show is a joke. I don't think the producers even find any of it funny, they probably just think kids find it funny. But it's really painful to watch, it's boring. They attempt to have some sort of Disney-live-action-show story arc, like adding another child to the show and thinking, "wow, maybe if we add another kid people will watch it." Except they're doing too much, especially with the choppiness of the whole thing right now. They really just need to stop the show where it is. Nick doesn't have any great shows or anything right now, a couple are semi-decent, but this isn't even close to one of those. This is crap.Firstly, the episodes are too long for its content -- one of the reasons why it's so painful to watch. The ideas for the episodes really aren't often too bad, but the execution is unbearable. It's like they run out of motivation a quarter through the episode, and just try to get the rest over with.Secondly, if the laugh track didn't play every five seconds (which is something that most kids' shows struggle with horribly. Laugh tracks are pointless and stupid), I wouldn't have guessed the show ever had any jokes to begin with. It's really, really that bad.And finally, because I'm tired of writing this, the show literally has no inspiration at all. A show about superheroes rarely ever even takes advantage of that. It's literally just about teenage crap that nobody cares about, except they wrote "funny sitcom" all over it, and tried to make something original. Except it's so boring I'd rather sit in a corner and scratch my eyes out.
