AutCuddly Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,
Portia Hilton Blistering performances.
cotyman Well the show seems like it could be funny. Dude has great humility, funny persona but do we really need another trump bashing show? I mean can we have a regular political comedy show that doesn't make things painfully obvious where they stand? Comedy takes no sides but all the political comedy shows are clearly one sided. Not really a trump supporter but just getting tired of hearing all the bashing.
n-m-bertin Let's be honest, Trevor Noah isn't as good as Jon Stewart. He's fumbling on words, the jokes aren't as spot on. The real alternative to his show is this, with Jim Jefferies. It's almost exactly the same. It's heavily political, with a lot of swearing added. Jim is in his element. More than say John Oliver, who has better ideas and does better interviews, but isn't as relaxed and fluid when he talks to the public. I hope Jim finds some fresh ideas, because it is extremely similar to the Daily Show, with the interviews and the reactions. Also, I expected it to be left-wing, and I don't mind but it's too much sometimes. And this is what makes John Oliver better : he goes and finds the issue that no one talks about. Once Jim will have TV veteran researchers working with him, with original segments, it'll take off.
Lssah2006 Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of Jim and his inappropriate humour, but this show is pretty bad. The first episode was good and I got a few laughs, but it has gone down hill over the past 5 weeks. The most recent episode made me consider if it is worth persisting any further.Probably the most annoying part of the show is the fact that he bangs on over and over and Trump. We get it, you don't like Trump - but you are starting to sound like a broken record now!! At least he did pick on an Aussie politician in one episode so I will credit him that. And what is with the camera shot and the viewing screen in the left hand corner that stay still whilst everything else moves?? Budget constraints? That needs to be fixed, it's annoying. All in all if this show continues down the same path I would not lose any sleep if it got canned.
drjgardner Jim Jeffries is so funny you can barely sit still. Its irreverent, topical, savage, and spares no one. Jeffries is far ranging, with interviews of a Queensland Australia Senator, and the Ambassador to Azerbeigan. Of course he turns his attention to Trump now and then, but it's not endlessly dwelling on Trump's foibles.Along with the funny stuff, Jeffries presents lots of real statistics about important subjects (health care, climate change, racism). It's the funnies show on at the moment, and each episode gets funnier and funnier. His latest episode, about people who go on phony trophy hunts, is not merely hilarious, it is thoughtful and well reasoned.
