Thoroughly enjoyed The Five. This is the second Harlan Coben story that I've watched and both were amazing. The other was Safe. If you enjoy and good mystery, then this story will keep you guessing until the very end. There are a few plots intertwined, but at the end of the day, it is about a group of childhood friends and how they come together to solve a mystery. It is entertaining and thought provoking and I adore English accents. I can't say enough about this mini series but i won't say any more because you need to watch it without any hints about what takes place in this interesting story.

5 episodes too many. This would have been a nice 5 episode story but I feel that the writers were told to deliver a product that would consume 10 hours and this was the best they could do. I'm getting tired of the English series that have 500 plot turns from beginning to end. The writers try too hard to be clever and the storyline gets confusing and boring. Think I'll lay off England for a whilst. I'm beginning to lose my American traits.
