Reviews

Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
WillSushyMedia This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Sarita Rafferty There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
yamzone Best show I've seen in a while. Watch it ;$:$,$:!: fd cj d
bgsmall Again, a Netflix binge watch situation for me. The episodes were short enough that I think I managed to watch the entire season in two nights. The acting of the two central characters is outstanding, James; a boy-man who thinks he might be a serial-killer and Alyssa; a 'new-to-town' girl who has very clear ideas of what she does and does not want. The scripting and most importantly the silences that allow the dialogue space to breathe and plot to grow is excellent (as you might expect honed from the original comic-book story). But that's not all! The cinematography is fantastic, e.g. episode 1, you are given a birds eye view of their exit from a very neat and manicured sub-urban street (apparently filmed in Windlesham - where I once worked - didn't recognise it). Similarly, there are lots if exterior / interior shots of circa 1960 / 1970 build houses that are clearly architechtural one off's . This is very intriguing to me - I have a penchant for mid-century / contemporary architechture. I wonder if any of the crew had previously worked on the also C4 series 'Utopia'?Overall, the pace, acting , dialogue and locations make this a must watch, bring on series two!!
nikki98-851-62619 Bad: -Acting -Story -everything Good: Episode is only 20 minutes long
alouminotavros It is hard for me to watch any type of series with blah-blah-blah zompies blah-blah-blah knights and generally I hate all blah-blah-blah soap operas. To be fair, I had read an article about the music of this one. And I was curious to see it or maybe, to hear it. So this was really good! Good scenario, good actors and good music. Without too much blah-blah-blah. Not boring. I vote for 8 and believe me, I am hard to give 8. I am old enough and I have seen a lot in my life. And I am cross-grained person anymore. But must to be honest. Nice!
