ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

flyingamon This mini series is actually how I want fantasy and fairy tale movies to be done. It is very long but when you have a good story and really cool characters that doesn't bother me. I rather watch this long and great adventure than watching a TV show that never ends and where each episode is a short story on its own. The main characters Virginia and her dad end up in this fairy tale world which was so fantastic that I actually wished I was there too. Despite that it is long it never gets boring. It is like a really good book, with well worked out characters which emotions are depicted perfectly. It does has fairy tale characters everyone knows such as Snow White and Cinderella, fairy tale creatures such as dwarfs, trolls and references to typical objects and scenes from famous fairy tales such as poison apple, mirror on the wall, guess my name riddle, incredible hair growth etc. The use of all these elements don't feel forced and blend together well making for a fantastic movie. Although it might not be perfect I can see no fault in it and give it the maximum score. It has fantasy, magic, humor, drama, romance. The only negative thing is that some parts might not be suitable for young children as there is mild violence in it a few times.

mergatroid-1 Every time I see this movie I like it even more than the last time.This is an exceptionally long movie at about 10 hours, but it was a mini series to begin with. Unfortunately I missed it in it's run, never even heard of it.I was snooping around the videos in a local store and came across this little gem. It's a great story supported by some excellent acting. The production values are just about the best I've even seen for any made-for-TV material. The entire idea of the movie, regarding what had happened to all the fairy tale people after a couple of hundred years, is captivating itself. However, the cast they put together fit the rolls perfectly.The trolls are particularly funny and well done. The huntsman actually gave me the chills.People who like fantasy and fairy tales will absolutely love this movie.If you go to all the last reviews here you will find the opinions of people who are not fantasy fans. You know, the ones with no imagination and who couldn't suspend their disbelief even if they were paid to do so. These people will never see a good fantasy for what it is, and will never get any enjoyment out of them. This leaves me to wonder, if they don't like these types of stories, why do they keep watching them? If you enjoy the genera then by all means pick this up if you see it. Just be ready for either a LLLOOONNNGGG bout of watching a LLLOOONNNGGG movie, or try and cut it up into manageable pieces. The toughest thing will be trying to stop it somewhere. Good luck with that decision.

bamsefar_paa_piller I laughed my ass off watching only about an hour of this pathetic attempt of making a movie! I have never seen a movie with so many flaws, lame acting, even more lame plot and last but not least the most ridiculously poor production in the world!! I was at first drawn by the resumé on the back of the DVD and went in with open expectations. But all I saw was actors dressed in weird costumes and many of them chose to wear ugly masks. The last part probably because they didn't want their faces shown, in what they knew from the start was a crappy movie. I must admit that the story, with a little editing, could turn out to be an epic story like Lord of The Rings, but when you are making a movie this long it takes a lot of money to keep up the quality. It seems to me that they had to save where ever they could. As a result of all this, the movie turned out extremely poor and I wouldn't even recommend this to my worst enemyYou have to be a tremendously tasteless person or just 6 years old to enjoy the piece of garbage!Sincerely yours Pia Kjærsgård

connor-macgregor Virginia and Tony are two normal people living in Manhatten,New York when Prince Wendell is turned into the dog by the evil Queen who wants to rule the 4th kingdom.Wolf is released by the queen to go after Wendell along with 3 trolls.Wendell,Wolf and the 3 trolls go through the magic mirror into New York.When one thing leads to another they enter a world they have never imagined.I love the 10th kingdom.Its a great story and amazing characters.Its a really long story but its eventful every step of the way until the end.They even left it open for a sequel.Except their never was a sequel boo.Anyway overall.Unforgettable.
