Steineded How sad is this?
Console best movie i've ever seen.
Gurlyndrobb While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
avattathil I can't wait for season 4. I probably seen all the episodes like 5 times. Cheyenne's boyfriend cracks me up. Mememeeuu!!
wayneshorn This show is very corny, goofy, lighthearted fun. Great characters and character interaction. If you're looking for something more intellectual or with a deeper storyline, this isn't it. This is just a great show to veg out to and have a few chuckles.
greaterhoustonprinting I work at a big box store. This is just what life is like working at one of these large corporate businesses. Corporate care less about anyone from managers to workers, if it all about corporate and their mindless emails and rules that the store has to follow.Associates act like the actors on the show because 9 out 10 times it true. The place can be on fire and customer will still ask for service and get upset that you do not wait on them. Also, the reason in big box stores, you have a hard time getting help, is the because the workers are NOT trained to know anything about the items. You go to work, the manager put the person in an area and tells you to help the customers. 9 out 10 the person knows nothing about the products, just needs a job. And, if you get a vacation, the manager calls you the next morning telling you to have to return to work that day are you will be fired. I have many co-workers that had an approved vacation, only be fired for not being at work when the manager calls.I only work weekends, but a few years back, a manager wrote up for failure to be able to work on his demand. I told him, my agreeement with the company was weekends ony, his reply that why you are getting written up for not be able to work on Tuesday when I called you! And, 9 out 10 times when you ask a worker where an item is in the store and they can't help, is because, he or she is on their second day at work. No one in management shows where any items are kept.
mathmaniac This is a funny series. If you like America Ferrera, as I do, you will really like the show. All the other characters are portrayed well by talented actors and the script is not up to 'The Office' standards but the humor can make you laugh out loud. What is very noticeable: the Latina (2!), the black man, the disabled man (combined into one character), the Filipino man, the gay man (combined into one character), the Christian guy, the Jewish guy, the teenager, the pregnant woman (combined into one character) - how friggin' politically correct can the showrunner get who came up with this? This is a very small group of co-workers in a big store. Everywhere you look: the shoppers are white people (sprinkled with one or two Asians and a few black people).I binge-watched the first season so maybe some of this will change in season 2. It does not matter much but it is SO noticeable how carefully this population has been constructed. One of my favorite shopping trips (weekly) is the stop at Walmart. It's a great store. It's a good business. I know that the prices are good not only because I can compare them and see that this is so, but at least half the shoppers are Hispanic from a neighboring town. Best advertisement ever for bargain shoppers! If I had to imagine the type of store used as a model for Cloud 9, I guess it could be Target. Livin' large!
