SpuffyWeb Sadly Over-hyped
Raetsonwe Redundant and unnecessary.
Bereamic Awesome Movie
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
reddragonhero17 Being or becoming a parent is definitely not an easy task, especially with our busy schedules. The question is, how do you balance your work life and raise your kids? Thankfully Jo Frost puts it right. She finds middle ground between parents and their kids so there is no power struggles and of course frequent misbehaving. Of course some kids consider Jo to be "mean" when in reality she's being strict and eventually they learn to follow through. I like how she admonishes any irresponsible parent and gets them to get with it. I learned many parenting things from this show, from potty training, time-outs, rewards, homework time and so on. A must watch for any parent!
theresahanley she helped a family of six that was being ran by a four year old. the mother was completely rude to the older kids, the nanny, and her husband. I was so upset that the nanny did not tell her that her attitude was awful and she should try and see that the problems are 50 50 in a marriage. If i was the nanny i would not have taken that stuff from her, and if i was the husband i would leave that women. She thinks she does nothing wrong and that she is a hero for raising 4 kids on her own when her husband is at work.Grow up most moms are raising there kids while the dad works. If nanny doesn't make the parents see that there attitudes effect the kids then there is no reason that she should be on TV.
merilee112 To the person who posted before me, are we talking about the same show? You sure you don;t have your nanny shows confused? Jo Frost is the best nanny in the whole world! The show is NOIT a job for her, it is NOT! WATCH the show, she loves the kids, she DOES play with them and hugs and kisses them! With the exception of Deb., I don't see ANY of the Nanny 911 nannies doing that! The Nanny 911 nannies are cold and stick it to the parents but I do NOT see them interact too much with the kids. In fact, they have these dumb uniforms that almost makes it impossible! Jo always plays with them, she is ALWAYS there for them! She ADORES them,. I don't see where you get she doesn't.The show displays the steps right on the bottom of the screen, where as Nanny 911 you have to listen or you'll miss it. Supernanny is MUCH more useful and educational! Believe me, SUPERNANNY is better cause JO loves the kids more and that's the truth. Nannying is not a job for her, it's play for her! Supernanny is better!!!
amcfan84 ABC has tried to make another show like Fox's Nanny 911, but it wasn't quite the same. Jo didn't seem to get through to the kids as fast as they do on 911.Actually, Jo got through to them 10 minutes before the show was over. The parents, unusually, were completely willing the whole time to do what Jo said. Completely cooperative parents is something you never see on 911. And then about halfway through the show Jo leaves, watches the family through some other building by cam, and then comes back and says all the things the parents have done wrong while she was out. I kind of thought that the nannies on 911 got closer to the children, like it wasn't just a "job" or something, they loved working with them. I wasn't left with that with Supernanny. It wasn't a bad show, overall, but if you're looking for the best show like this, I'd say watch nanny 911 instead.
