Ok I am not a hater, but i've never seen such a terrible example of Star Wars on screen before. I have a lot to say about this show, but bear with me.This show is supposed to be a direct sequel to Star Wars: the Clone Wars, which was one of the best shows ever made. Most episodes were cinematic adventures., where you actually cared about the characters and you were worried if they were going to die, and you actually got something out of it. In Star Wars Rebels, nobody ever dies, except a few Stormtroopers, who, by the way, turn out to only be "knocked out" by the end. And there's no lessons learned by the end of the episode. Its just terrorists blowing up something made by the empire and then getting away. Literally in every episode they steal Stormtrooper armor and attack the Empire without getting hurt or loosing anything. Remember in A New Hope, where the Empire was menacing and seemed impossible to defeat? Well in this show they are literally so stupid every time they try something they end up loosing. Every time. There is a scene where the Rebels, as a distraction, throw a midget alien onto the window. So the empire officers immediately whip out their guns and shoot at the obviously impervious glass, and then they KEEP SHOOTING AT IT.I guess the biggest reason I dislike this show is the characters. The writers try to make us care about them, but honestly I could care less since none of them are in the movies. So lets start with Ezra. So apparently we're supposed to treat Ezra like young Anakin, except he has no parents, and he randomly finds out he has the force in the first episode. Not only that, he doesn't die in the end, which he should of, because Rey and Luke were the LAST JEDI. I never liked Ezra's character. Sabine. The writers tried to make her so important by suddenly, all in one episode, she becomes some sort of queen of mandalore and she randomly becomes super good at using a dark saber, which means she basically can't die. Zeb. Oh my gosh, i've never hated anyone or anything more than this guy. He is litterally supposed to be the "chewbacca" of Rebels but I hate him so much. His design is even based off concept art for Chewie. Maybe, just maybe, i can like him, if he didnt talk. Thats why everyone loves Chewbacca. He doesn't talk, so the audience can just fill in what they think he's saying, because he's funnier that way but at the same time, he's super powerful. We seriously can't have an episode without these terrible characters, there was one episode that was supposed to be all about Darth Maul trying to enact his revenge on obi-wan Kenobi, which would have been awesome, But the writers have half the episode just watching Ezra and Chopper walk around in the Desert. We didn't need that, you just put them in the episode because you think the episode would do better with them. When I heard this show's design would be based off of Ralph McQuarrie's concept art, I was excited. Except maybe if the animation wasnt so bad it would be cool. But skinny lightsabers? No. Ugly AT-AT's? Nope. Darth Vader looked pretty awesome, but for some reason he's only in like 2 episodes and then he never comes back. (???)And they bring Ahsoka back. I mean, that was sorta cool, and the only moment I liked about this show was when she realized Darth Vader was her old master, Anakin, but they ruin her too by bringing her back to life in the last Season, and, like Ezra, she just hangs out somewhere in the galaxy, doing nothing, When Luke is supposed to be the last Jedi.Ok another thing: The first inquisitor was kinda cool. He was a hard villian to defeat and he had a cool duel with Ezra, which he died. So at the beginning of season two, it starts with Ezra and Kanan fighting two new inquisitors. What? Thats not how you start a season, randomly throw in two more super powerful villains with no backstory! Not only that, but the inquisitors...get ready...start spinning their lightsabers, and they fly away. Like helicopters. I swear im not joking. They do it throughout the entire episode. Can you imagine, in The Phantom Menace, if Darth Maul just started spinning his lightsaber, and he flies away? This show is SO BAD compared to Star Wars: The Clone Wars, I honestly will never understand why EVERYONE loves it so much. Sorry my review was so long, but you just have to understand this show is kiddie garbage.

As I mentioned on my Forces of Destiny review I am going to review well now here it is my review.I have not seen every single episode nor I keep updates on this show but I have to say I like the animation style and the voice actors on this show. Okay, this show isn't as adventurous or action-packed as Star Wars the clone wars was, however, this show does have funny humour and some serious moments. I even like the fact that the voice of the clones Dee Bradley Baker voiced Ezra's dad and even came back as Rex.But the only reason I saw this show was to see after matters of clone wars. However, the haters are right to be angry that Star Wars the clone wars got cancelled for this and I actually agree with them. And I have to admit the relationship between Cannan and Ezra kinda reminds me of Anakin and Obi-Wan. In my opinion, this show is helpful for after matters of Star Wars the clone wars but not as good as the clone wars and it is way too much of a lighter approach. Like I said on my Forces of Destiny review, Disney made a mistake by buying Star Wars and making it into a playground at least Tron Evolution wasn't like this at all.
I don't love or hate this show i am between both the love and the hate.
