Best movie of this year hands down!
Humaira Grant
It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Neive Bellamy
Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

SpongeBob SquarePants is most commonly seen as a silly, pointless comedic television series written for children awaiting their parents arrival home from their monotonous 9 to 5 job. However, one may argue that SpongeBob SquarePants is the wise moral sensei of the show as he teaches the lost and harsh adults of the world about joy and happiness. His innocence manifests itself in light and this creature became godly and began to encourage bliss in the darkest depths of the ocean. The fact that the bob is square shaped physically shows that he himself is the orderly and most reasonable of all of the characters. His adventures with each of the sea creatures results in the expansion of the creatures' emotions and humanity. Take for example the bob's boss, Mr. Krabs. His obsession with wealth has hardened the once lively sea captain and closed him off from his friends and loved ones. Mr. Krabs also clearly has some degree of sexual confusion as evidented through the episode depicting him smelling his mother's underwear. This can also be seen through his literal name. The crab also continues to raise a teenage whale girl throughout the series. However, this gives the character some refined mystery. Viewers may assume that
1. His late wife was another creature and their reproduction resulted in the form of a whale
2. His late wife had an illegitimate child and Krabs, being the oblivious crustacean he is, believed it was his
3. Krabs and his late wife adopted
4. Krabs suffered from heartbreak of his wife's passing and adopted a child
5. Krabs stole a whale baby
Or
6. The child in question is an illusion
Although Krabs doesn't necessarily change his isolated ways after hiring Bob, it is evident that his heart begins to grow as seen through his overcoming of his challenge to part with his money.
Perhaps a more obvious example of the Bob's good doing is in his ability to befriend the town villain, Plankton, in a musical duet. Throughout the musical sequence Plankton references the demise of Bikini Bottom, however by the end of the song Bob convinces him that life is for the living and that fun can be had even as an adult. This series must be seen as a serious and revered example of human creativity and the simple fact that adults can't view the television show in this fashion further proves my point. In conclusion, we must band together as a generation united with the sole purpose of demolishing this destitute pattern of life we have become accustomed to with SpongeBob SquarePants as our inspiration and enlightened leader.

When I was little, I always watch this show. It was very entertaining, funny, charming, friendly, clever and fun. The jokes still hold up until now. The earlier seasons are still likable even in the future. Even though the newer seasons aren't as good, they are a lot better than the newer seasons of The Fairly Oddparents which are just terrible. Despite the fact that it wasn't as good as before, it is still and always will be the best Nickelodeon show ever.

This is one of the best shows ever and I am not exaggerating. This show is so awesome and people are just jealous because they are not the beautiful talking sponge and doesn't have a best friend named pat or rick that is pink. So yea ignore everyone they are just haters of a show that has 8 out of 10 which is a B so ya am take that lskdfjafdsfsd

Spongebob is a very classic show. but its not for kids. seasons 1-3 had lots of adult jokes and some dark episodes. and season 4 onwards is much darker. its very vilonte characters get there skin ripped off. characters get ripped in half. characters almost get beheaded. and in one episode the flying Dutchman makes it look like sponge bob got his head bit off by a monster . there's suicide references like a fish puts a spear up against his neck. and says some day but not today. a fishes head explodes and another fish sighs and says lucky. plankton commits suicide and even says cant you see I'm trying to get run over here. there's a suicide joke were squid ward pulls out a rope and looks like hes going to hang himself. Mrs puff tries to murder sponge bob and even yells why are you still alive. and then tries to run him over with a giant monster truck. sponge bob performs surgery on squid ward. and his heart flies up into the air chops off his tentacle chops him up into sushi. and finally accidentally chops his head off off-screen . a fish makes a hanging gesture with his hands. and the whole episode is about Mr krabs wanting squid ward dead so he can make the money off his paintings. with that being said i think Spongebob is a very classic show. that's not for kids seasons 1-3 were not made for kids but the creator didn't want to go to far. as said in a interview. and seasons 4 onwards are much darker. and don't think about kids at all. and Spongebobs new episodes are becoming more like ren and stimpy.
