Synopsis

Spaced: the anti-Friends, in that it examines the lives of common 20 somethings, but in a way that is more down to earth and realistic. Here we have Daisy and Tim; two 'young' adults with big dreams just trying to get by in this crazy world. They are thrown together in a common pursuit of tenancy, which they find by posing as a couple. The house has a landlady and an oddball artist living there. The series explores the ins and outs of London living.

AutCuddly Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,
Donald Seymour This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Logan By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
retrogregory 'Spaced' is a show that never fails to make me laugh. With the many, many pop culture references sprinkled throughout, this show is a geek's paradise. The cast is absolutely spectacular: Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Jessica Stevenson (Now Hynes), Peter Serafinowicz, Bill Bailey, Mark Heap. All of the characters are believable and the situations they run into can range from the mundane to the extraordinary. A true template for what a British sitcom should look and feel like.
idleprimate I didn't see this show on its first run, although i remember friends telling me to watch it. i came later, tracing Simon Pegg's career.i dragged my feet thru the first season, and dint really fall into it til the second. but it is great fun, with so many sly nods and arched eyebrows, parodying so many things. i watch an episode, and laugh at the "in-joke" then look it up, and find there are half a dozen more in-jokes that i missed because i wasn't in on the pop-reference.lastly, this show draws me back, episode after episode because of Jessica Bynes. i kind of just fell in love with her, and had to keep watching.anyway, catch this show if you can, its a good laugh riot!
Syl I only saw one episode because I was on a plane. At first, I didn't like it but it grew on me about cartoonist who submitted the wrong picture to the man who can change his life forever. He has to get it before he sees it. Well remember the Mission Impossible scene where Tom Cruise has to break into the CIA but it's far more enjoyable and there are laughs along the way. The cast is unfamiliar to me personally. I don't get much newer British comedies in America but I think Simon Pegg does a wonderful job as does the other cast members. It's kind of quirky and silly but really enjoyable. I think Simon Pegg goes over the edge regarding the show's comedic appeal. It's not so much about Spaced as it is about average ordinary life in London and the characters who wish they were anything but ordinary and average.
sam-1645 I am SO glad I ran across this show on BBC America! I'm officially obsessed with it now and only wish there were more episodes! I'm a huge Simon Pegg fan and this show is a perfect example why! The show is cleverly written, smart and hilarious. It's perfect for film snobs, comic fans, artists and writers alike! I'm an artist, writer and film snob, so this show is like my brain laid out on television! My favorite element are the subtle film references throughout. Some are so subtle that only the most advanced film snob can catch them, so it makes me feel that much smarter when I do!(-: I finally feel like my mind full of useless knowledge is being put to good use! Thanks to Simon Pegg and the others for this masterpiece and kudos for the X-File posters!(-;
