cassandrarenee23 I love this show. I can re watch the entire season and still be intrigued by how the writers take history as we know it and intertwined it with fiction. It's very thrilling. I love all of the characters and what they bring to the show. I love Nicole Beharie (Abbie Mills) and Tom Mison (Ichabod Crane)chemistry as the leads of the show. Seasons 1 and two are my absolute favorite the other two seasons I feel the writers were slipping and I am highly disappointed in Season 4. If there will be another season I'm hoping its nothing like season 4.

ijamadar I loved series one, but series 2 just began mediocre and plummeted from there on to the point I did not even watch the last few episodes.However the creators have made some changes to it now, and all is looking rosy.Change of the lead actress was welcomed as was the style / atmosphere.So far its great, so if you loved Season 1 but not 2, then I urge you to come back to it and take a peek.You will most likely be pleasantly surprised.Its definitely back !YAY

arodox-59760 The first season was surprisingly great. I thought with such a premise as this, it would undoubtedly be a trainwreck, but i was pleasantly surprised, i even felt the need to tell people how good it was after watching that epic season 1 finale. However it has only gone downhill from there to the point where after just 2 seasons it is a steaming pile of crap that i am no longer emotionally invested in. It started out as one of the few genuinely scary shows on TV, with its depictions of moloch and purgatory as the especially thrilling and well done parts. However it seems that over time, the talented crew of writers and animators that made the first season so great have been replaced by rank amateurs, and what was once poignant and well done is now campy and cringeworthy. Even the VFX are just... bad. Like at points almost scorpion king level bad. Pandora and the hidden one are the worst thing this show has ever done, and that includes that weird turning Ichabods witch fiancé evil for no apparent reason thing. And they celebrate it, as if the weird stupid shît they have done since their first season is something to be proud of. Like speaking to the hologram of thomas jefferson while doing a completely unnecessary nonsense crossover with bones, of all things. Why on earth would you want to remind people of that godawful mess? Let alone treat it like its one of your selling points?I have a suggestion for any viewer. Watch the show until John Noble leaves. Then stop watching there, so the entire show is not ruined forever.

julesgarden-44465 I can't think of another series where a character from Revolutionary times is brought into the present day to fight evil, so I am baffled at the last review that said it was "ordinary". You have to wonder what that person considers an extraordinary premise...Bed Bugs From Space? I love the sets, the lead characters are compelling, there are moments of genuine horror, scenes of great humor, and the flashbacks to Ichabod's life in Revolutionary times are great. The only characters I did not enjoy, Katrina and Henry, are gone so I hope that means we'll see more of the other actors in the series. I can't wait for Season 3 to begin, and hope there are many more seasons to come. Kudos to Fox for presenting such an original series.
